Warm atmosphere and great food

Small restaurant, nicely decorated. Food was excellent. We went there to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We were 10 and we all loved it. I had an asparagus soup with Belgian grey shrimps, it was excellent and original. Then I had a steak with home made bearnaise sauce that was to die for! The... read more

A hospitable restaurant with reasonably small menu, but still plenty to select from. The service was friendly and we received a couple of little extra dishes before our meals arrived. Clean and tidy and enough English to manage easily. Quite nice local atmosphere, and reasonable prices.

An easy to find restaurant that opens its doors a bit later than most. Very quiet when I was there, only diner until joined by another four people. Interior is typical of a small corner restaurant although a bit dusty on the windowsills which was disconcerting. Food was good and certainly different, hot meats with salad. Hearty platefuls of your... More

Almost literally next door to our lovely hotel (Made in Louise), we stopped by on arrival day for a quick bite. Great service, promptly served, delicious fresh food (we had their salads), cosy atmosphere, reasonable prices: a no brainer when in Ixelles!

Cesar salad to die for it was just filled with variety. Good house red and coffee. A safe bet for a hungry traveller and was given a warm welcome as a solo diner.

I found this by chance. I wanted to eat Belgian style. Small stylish restaurant, well thought out. Good atmosphere. The food looked about right on price, but little did I expect such quality and volume of food. I guess if I had a complaint at all, I would prefer a little less dressing on my salad/meal. But then this is... More

We found this place completely by accident, but so glad we so glad we did. Good variety of choices and presentation. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Also the creamy tagliatelle with lardons that I ordered was one of the best pastas I've had in a restaurant. It's a very small place, and filled up quickly when we were... More

We had nice meal on our first night in Brussels. It is in a quiet neighborhood. The menu has a variety of options. We chose a nice chicken salad and a Greek salad. They were very generous and a good value for Brussels. The presentation was beautiful. They served a nice complimentary glass of soup prior to the dinner. Nice... More

Nice cosy restuarant, with lots of patrons in the middle of the week. Menu in French only so a bit difficult to understand. Had a steak layered with vegetables and parmesan cheese. Presentation good, good flavours, however the food was cold and this distracted from what could have been a wonderful meal.
