Go to this region a lot and have been to this restaurant several times. The restaurant is a step above the usual trattorie of the area and its quality is more refined but obviously you pay more for this understandably. Try their charcuterie which is of very good quality and their caramelle (ricotta and spinach pasta) in sage and butter... More

Relaxed trattoria style family owned restaurant with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Extremely good food typical of Emilia Romagna region and great value. Allessandro and his mum were great fun too. Definitely recommend if you're visiting this area!

We have eaten at da Faccini many times over the past 10 years - and will continue to do so. It's been open many years, is family-run, and is always full - mostly with people from the local area, though some regular customers come from as far away as Piacenza. The cuisine is that of Emilia and excels in cured... More

For over 80 years this family business is cooking and serving great authentic Italian food made in their own kitchen and beautifully presented in a fantastic atmosphere! The appetisers were exquisit, vol-au-vent with leek and gamba, freshly cut prosciutto with a special kind of warm flat bread and the pasta we ordered was even better, ravioli with duck and black... Went here after various recommendations. I was let down. The food was over cooked especially the pasta which is un heard of in Italy. The waitor - Massimo I think his name was was very arrogant and unpolite. I'd avoid this at all costs as it was a major let down. The atmosphere was terrible also I felt like I... More

Simple looking place in a village near Parma. The Faccini family is cooking, making service for at least 50 years there. The most delicious place I have ever tried in Italy, though rather economical.

My understanding is that, stylistically, this is a pretty typical Piacentine restaurant, but they do what they do incredibly well. Having reserved in advance a bottle of the il Poggiarello brand of Guttornio red wine, I put myself in the hands of the staff to recommend the menu, and they did not disappoint. After an opener of local prosciutto ham,... More

Yet again, Da Faccini serves local food at its very best. What I like is the seasonal changes to the menu, summer offerings include tagliatelle with broad beans and prawns, and the desserts are awesome....try the crostata di frutta. Few restaurants can match the quality and skill of the cucina. Well done!

Da Faccini has some of the best dishes in the Piacenza/Parma region. The pasta dishes are superb and change with the seasons, depending on what is fresh and in season. The main courses are brilliant, the local duck and guinea fowl are unbeatable. What is surprising about this restaurant is how good the desserts are. Everything from the classic creme... More
