Chips on the 18th Oct greasy, not well cooked, they take forever to serve, never cook enough chips just a few at a time, would say the staff are either not trained or do not care, need a good supervisor in the take away. The staff are varying on their helpfulness and it just seems to be and end to... More

Visited The Ashvale restaurant in Brechin recently after purchasing an itison voucher .We had a fantastic meal the Saturday evening we were there. We were visiting for the first time and our waitress that evening was a lovely girl called Sarah. She really looked after us well and made us feel very welcome. First class fish and chips and excellent... More

I telephoned immediately to which the reply was 'yes... More

Just OK, and a bit pricey for the average food! The fact that it was empty at a busy time of day probably said it all.

Having spent 30 odd quid, I was looking forward to a nice meal with my family. The food did not disappoint. Beautiful fish and chips cooked perfectly - as you would expect from The Ashvale. Regrettably, this was soured. When I asked for salt and vinegar on each of my order, the shout, yes shout was 'you should have stated... More

Very poor service and ignorant staff. Had to wait 10 mins for chips even people who had placed phone orders had to wait. Staff just did not give a damn to busy on mobile phone. Not good at all

Have to say, the entire place seemed spotlessly clean. Watched the girls cleaning up... More
