Lost Something

This place used to be good. My dad would take me here alot, but now the the whole place has changed. The service is not good at all. Maybe it depends on what night you go or what mood the server is in. The chips are very peely wally and rubbery no taste at all. I really do find it... read more

on a flying return visit we popped in for supper having known and loved the place while living in the area once upon a time. The service was great but the food seemed a little pricey since our last visit.

I had a takeaway fish supper which was nicely cooked with crispy batter. The customer service isn't great though and you are ignored when you walk in the shop. Staff at takeaway counter were sullen and disinterested.

So out with my parents who just love this place as they do a pensioners special. I did the challenge and got a nice free dessert. Atmosphere is good. Could do with better disabled access. Food well priced and as fresh as you can get. Wish they had draught beer but just a minor issue. Very relaxed setting with plenty... More

I always try to stop here for fish and chips, the fish batter is always crispy and the chips and great too. Staff are always welcoming and keen that you enjoy your meal. Well done

My grandson was delighted to see pizza on the children's menu. His brother thankfully ordered the fish n'chips. His Dad and I the fish too. The pizza arrived, a yellowy top of melted cheese, obviously done in a microwave which the poor child looked at in horror. He tried but could not eat the rubbery base with the cheese scraped... Travelling south from Aberdeen we noticed a sign by the road advertising award winning fish and chips in Brechin. We were duped. Two expensive fish suppers were binned. The fish were coated in extremely thick uncooked batter which was disgusting. The greasy chips were no better. This is by far the worst fish and chips I have ever encountered and... More

Food overcooked and the service was terrible. It's extremely overpriced for the small portion. I wont be back.
