Spacious & comfortable room.

We were made very welcome here & helped to our rooms with our luggage. Our room was very spacious & contained furniture befitting the character of the building. Our evening meal was enjoyable - portions were rather too generous for us but the content was delicious.

We ate here twice recently. The food is traditional Normandy cuisine served with quiet efficiency. The first time round I had the plat de fruit de mer as a starter, followed by the confit de canard. Both were reasonably priced (the plat de fruit de mer carries a 4E surcharge) and the wine list provided fitting accompaniement. On the second... More

We chanced upon this place one night, from a recommendation! It was lovely and friendly. Three excellent fixed-price menus, al la carte too! Cocktails, local wines and great food in a lovely traditional restaurant. We will go back and stay soon and try the other menus - it was that good!

We came across this little gem whilst camping nearby. The restaurant has an authentic French feel to it with interesting decorations on the walls in the dining room. It was open on a Sunday evening which was a bonus for us. There were 3 different set menus to choose from varying in price as well as a la carte. The... More

The restaurant itself has a lovely homely vibe, with many interesting features adorning the walls. The service was friendly and calm, and the menu seemed to have a lot of choice. I went for one of the set menus, with a lovely salad starter and a large piece of beef for mains. I was surprised by the large portions of... More

We enjoyed the dining experience so much the first night that we came back the next evening too. The food was so good - especially the fish soup. We ordered Menu Sillans – fish soup, monk fish, cheese, apple pie with calvados - and Menu Seulles – salmon with dill, rabbit, apple pie. The restaurant artwork and walls are beautiful.... More

This restaurant deserved a review on the really friendly service and good food alone. However, what prompted this was the attention and care given to my son's girlfriend who suffers a number of allergies and finds new restaurants a nervous experience. The staff were very keen to put her mind at rest, understood her needs and concerns. To the extent... More

Dear Sir, Dear Madam, Following your review, I'm sorry if you think our menu is pedestrian, but i'm really disappointed because when you leave us, you didn't tell me anything about your disappointment, and your restaurant's staff try to do the best for our guests. Regards, More

Enticing room (a market back in the days of yore) with really superior food. Filet mignon pork which was out of this world. An outstanding duck dish with mouth watering au gratin potatoes. Incredibly fresh oysters and really tasty local ham. Service could not have been better for our American speaking group. Food allergies were not an issue, all servers... More
