Simply the best

The food, service and views here are wonderful. I had a swordfish pasta which was lovely and my boyfriend had the grilled swordfish which was also delicious. The mussels were so, so good - I love mussels anyway but these were really, really tasty. The wait staff were great, and the view was fantastic too. I couldn't have had my... More

This is a truly amazing place to dine. The food is out of this world. If you let Dino "have his way," you will be given some of the most delectable dishes on the planet. The view is superb, right at the water's edge with views of the sea and castle. On warm nights the clear plastic "curtains" are raised,... More

We had dinner with my husband, atmosphere was very romantic with view on the seaside. Food was good, but nothing particular. Pasta con pomodori secci was too oily.. But fish was fresh and service was good, they are gentle. We took a local white wine and we liked it a lot. It is quiet expensive for the food they are... More

When we arrived, there was only one table left, but we were moved to a fantastic table overlooking the sea as soon as one became available. The Maître D was absolutely charming and spoke Italian slowly to my husband and gave him time to compose his replies! We took his advice on what to order and had a lovely meal,... More

Dinner was wonderful. The setting is so beautiful and romantic. Food was good and reasonably priced. We had the Frutte di Mare app which was excellent. One main dish was the Ravoli stuffed with swordfish in a pesto sauce. One main dish was the Spadia (swordfish) Rollotini...rolled ad stuffed Wonderful and the sunset is too die for going behind the... More

We had a great meal here in this quiet roof-top restaurant with amazing food and great service. We wanted to come back the next day but it was their day off. But we'd thoroughly recommend the food. It was some of the best we had all week. Go for the sword-fish if it's in season as it was some of... More

We were visiting my bf' parents in Caulonia, jonica coast...we decided to visit Scilla and unfortunataley we arrived after the sunset However Glauco offered us an eccellent mix of antipasti with lovely flavours. Definitely a place to visit possibly at the sunset.

I don't know why this gem of a place isn't #1--maybe because it's at the far end of Chianalea (the fishermen's district) and thus isn't a "walk by" place. There are no menus, as what is served depends on what is fresh from the sea that day. The antipasti misti (selected seafood) consists of plate after tiny plate of superb... More
