Lovely meal

It's at the upper end in terms of cost for Scilla, but the food was of excellent quality and still represented good value for money

We stayed at the hotel so it was nice and convenient to eat here - my friend and I had dinner here twice, and boy are we glad we did - I had always wanted to try scallops, so thought I would give the scallop risotto a go - WOW!!, what a gastronomic experience. We went back on our last... More

I went to this restaurant with my wife, and even if I knew it was very good, I was impressed by the level of the food and by the kindness of the waiters. I strongly recommend "sfoglie di pescespada", a sort of cake of swordfish, one of the best dishes ever tasted in my life. A nice surprise was also... More

We stayed at Palazzo Krataiis for one night and originally didn't want to visit this restaurant notwithstanding it was #1 on TA, as it was a bit corporate looking for our taste. However, few restaurants in Scilla opened early (8.15) so we ended up going there. The ambiance was better at night but at that time it was fairly empty... More

If there was a 3 and a half stars on TripAdvisor, that is probably the right rating for this one. We went there on the basis of its TA ranking during our one-night stay in Scilla. As such, we have no idea how good or bad the other restaurants in town are (tough our host anticipated we would say that... More

Marvellous food from the sea at a reasonable cost. Good service. Best food we had in Calabria!

This place was so good we visited it two nights in a row. Everything was excellent. From the antipasti (I recommend the parmiggiana with aubergine and mozzarella) to the pasta (the swordfish gnocchi was great), secondi and dessert (excellent tiramisu). Everything felt genuine, tasted fresh and was well-seasoned. The wines we got recommended were excellent, there was a large wine... More
