We had the seven course chefs selection with the matching wines. While expensive the food was lovely and they were very generous with the wine. Great for special occasions. We called a day or so before our meal on a Friday night, the staff where very helpful and booked us in straight away. The staff were great and very knowledgeable... More

We started the evening with drinks on the outside verandah before moving inside to experience the tasting menu. What a wonderful experience. The menu consisted of 5 courses and each course was matched with an appropriate wine. The food was sensational and visually exciting and matched perfectly with the wine. The portions were the perfect size and the service impeccable.... More

the degustation menu and wine pairings are a treat. chefs and waiting staff are great. The staff were very knowlegable on the wine selections and local history. The food was just great. Chicken breast which was like butter to cut, Snapper with Chicory sauce was simple but beautiful and the dessert was to die for. Simply a great dining experience.

Three of us recently had a fantastic meal at Appellation, The Louise. We chose our own meals, having two small plates each. We varied our choices so that we could share the flavours, which included, Kingfish, Quail, Pork, and Beef. Every meal was exceptional. We then shared a desert and the cheese plate (containing three international cheeses). All-in-all it was... More

We opted for our own choice rather than the chef's selection / degustation. We were given a small appetiser complimentary, I opted for quail entrée, my wife the beetroot & fruit. Both were very tasty and well presented. My kangaroo was tender and although the sauce was rich it mixed well with the pate. My wife's poached lobster on risotto... More

We had the Tuesday night Chef's selection where we each received an entree, main and dessert for $65 approx. which represented good value for fine dining. I prefer a table with table cloths and was surprised to find bare tables. Wait staff very attentive and lots of service

Fantastic food, fantastic wine, brilliant experience. This is a truly excellent restaurant. Was very wary after an awful experience at Hentley Farm but this restored our faith in good restaurants. Sommelier was brilliant and took time and care to give great advice and recommendations for local wineries to visit. Liked the food so much we went back twice in the... More

Beautifully presented, space between the tables, attentive staff. We were lucky enough to have booked dinner for 2 nights. The first night we chose from the a la carte selection but the second night it was 'locals' night, which was 'pot luck'! What this actually means is the chef is trying out new dishes to add to the new menu... More
