Three of us recently had a fantastic meal at Appellation, The Louise. We chose our own meals, having two small plates each. We varied our choices so that we could share the flavours, which included, Kingfish, Quail, Pork, and Beef. Every meal was exceptional. We then shared a desert and the cheese plate (containing three international cheeses). All-in-all it was... More

We opted for our own choice rather than the chef's selection / degustation. We were given a small appetiser complimentary, I opted for quail entrée, my wife the beetroot & fruit. Both were very tasty and well presented. My kangaroo was tender and although the sauce was rich it mixed well with the pate. My wife's poached lobster on risotto... More

Had an amazing evening with our daughter and her fiancée to celebrate her graduation. The food was amazing, brilliant produce, flavours and combinations, excellent service and ambient surroundings - it was a a memorable dining experience, would love to repeat again soon.

We had the Tuesday night Chef's selection where we each received an entree, main and dessert for $65 approx. which represented good value for fine dining. I prefer a table with table cloths and was surprised to find bare tables. Wait staff very attentive and lots of service

The 5 course meal was divine and the wines to match were magical. The staff knew their stuff and were friendly and enthusiastic.

Fantastic food, fantastic wine, brilliant experience. This is a truly excellent restaurant. Was very wary after an awful experience at Hentley Farm but this restored our faith in good restaurants. Sommelier was brilliant and took time and care to give great advice and recommendations for local wineries to visit. Liked the food so much we went back twice in the... More

Beautifully presented, space between the tables, attentive staff. We were lucky enough to have booked dinner for 2 nights. The first night we chose from the a la carte selection but the second night it was 'locals' night, which was 'pot luck'! What this actually means is the chef is trying out new dishes to add to the new menu... More

We had the chefs menu with matching wines. The food was amazing - The amuse bouche and dessert were highlights and the amount of food over the 5 courses was perfect. Wines were also perfectly chosen and complimented the food very well. Only negative would be that it took around 45 mins for the first round food to come out...... More

My wife and I wanted a nice weekend away to spoil ourselves. We certainly got spoilt. Appellation treated us royally with a delicious five course menu, supplemented perfectly with stunning wines. Absolutely loved it.

We did the 5 course degustation with matching wines. The food and wine were amazing. Only complaint was that there seemed to be a little miscommunication between the kitchen and the sommelier, as we'd have our next glass of wine way before our next dish arrived, so it was hard not to drink it all before the food came.
