Lets face it - finding quality food can be a little challenging in San Jose. Pho stands as a beacon in the dark in this regard. Run by a charming Canadian couple, the food is always very fresh, healthy and flavorsome. The venu is small and friendly and the menu is extensive enough to allow for multiple visits. Try their... Took my daughters there for dinner recently. It is always a pleasure to return to a restaurant that is dependable. The food was characteristically fresh and delicious.. Whether the pho, the bund or the rolls, all were excellent.. If you have never eaten Vietnamese food, Pho is a great place to start.. Pho (soup) is available with any meat or... More

I love Vietnam and Vietnamese food, especially pho. This was noodle soup and pretty watery. A bit more love and flavour need to be applied.

I cannot attest to other items on menu but the soup is so good I would have a hard time ordering anything else. May it is not as subtle as Pho, particularly breakfast style Pho in Vietnam but it is certainly a worthy substitute. Well done with really fresh ingredients, and very tasty

Not an expert on Vietnamese cuisine. Ordered Pho with chicken and meat. Could not say I was impressed, but it was an interesting experience. Place is managed by a Polish lady, quite nice.

Never thought I'd find a good bowl of pho in Costa Rica! Nice decor and great hosts! Also tried the springrolls (which are a little more chinese style than viet) which were amazing. Highly recommended from a guy that lives in Vietnam.

We visited the location in Lindora....terrible, the spring rolls were ok, the "curry coconut" shrimp was totally flavorless in a very deep yellow liquid that did not taste anything like curry nor coconut milk, no salt either. Really bad, if you have tried real Vietnamese food do skip this place.

My daughters and I love Vietnamese food and Pho gives us our fix. We have only had a few things on the menu...soup and spring rolls and we enjoyed it. It's a little pricey but some of the items are labor intensive. It's a place that offers a little variety amongst the comida tipica and Peruvian restaurants in the area.
