I am a big fan of this restaurant. The food is delicious, always a spectacular experience. Service is fantastic and they know how to treat you well. Many suggestions: Ossobuco, Corvina, all pasta dishes and risottos are great.

ALTA Hotel mgr recommended this restaurant for pizza, so we tried it. We at outside, under cover, but really a nice evening with great pizza and excellent Sangria.

The food is superb (and the menu is extensive), the ambiance is wonderful, the wine list is diverse and well assembled, and the service was perfect. Our favourite in Santa Ana

If you're looking for a restaurant in posh Santa Ana, Costa Rica (near San Jose) that offers: *an elegant setting, with white table cloths, and uniformed waiters *parking *no waiting for a table *a low noise level, And if the food is of lesser importance, and the skimpy, unimpressive wines-by-the-glass is of no importance, And if you don't mind if... Bacchus is definitely one of the best restaurants in Costa Rica. We've been visiting Bacchus for the last 6 years and it has never dissapointed us. The food is delicious and the service is top notch. I am writting this review today because I went there yesterday with my husband his sister and her husband and we had yet again... More

We dined here on our first night in Costa Rica so the bar was set pretty high right off the bat. In retrospect it made me have an unrealistic expectation of restaurants in Costa Rica but I digress. It was easy to make a reservation and we were seated outside as requested upon arrival. There was a group of use... More

This is one of those places where you want to go with a few friends and try everything in the menu. We did. Favored by the locals, friends invited us and lo and behold, many things were ordered. We sat outside, weather was amenable and cool. Most everything is prepared fresh. We had tuna carpaccio and different salads as appetizers,... More

I lived in Santa Ana for a year and went to Bacchus for my last night in town (it was too expensive to go regularly). The food was wonderful and service with a smile - timely too. Would recommend it for those special occasions but not really a weekly eatery.

Bacchus has done a tremendous job of providing a unique menu with a classic blend of seafoods, meats, and vegetables. They appreciate the potential for each item, not overcooking seafood, and not overpowering meats, but leveraging their natural flavors to create flavors that are unique and dependable. I have now eaten at Bacchus four times, and find that the consistency... More

Service has come along way. Well worth the trip to Santa Ana from other parts of town. Not cheap, but the food is above what you find in other upscale Italian restaurants.
