Stayed in the B and B across the road so popped in for a quick drink. Robinsons Wizard and Unicorn were very tasty, staff must know how to keep the beer. Lots if people were eating, couldn't hear any complaints.

We visited this place as we were staying in a B&B opposite before we visited Snowdon the following day. Staff were friendly and polite and the food fantastic. Great value for money.

This place was recommended to us and it was a very good call. We had whitebait and mushrooms for starter and steak and suet pudding for main course. The food was piping hot and delicious, as was the Aspel cider. I wish we'd been told the day before as we would have used it both nights. I'd go back without... More

Went to the Vaynol Friday night for an anniversary meal. We didn't book a table but went on the off-chance, staff were very quick in taking our order and very welcoming. The food was piping hot and very tasty, can't fault it or the service. As we live in the area, will almost certainly be going back.

Visited this pub whilst staying at the plas tirion b&b over the road. Even though it was mid week, the place was very busy and exuded a warm friendly atmosphere. Very good food enjoyed by the whole party followed by a few drinks in good company. Will be returning

I visited here with 2 friends a busy Saturday evening. An extensive menu was provided including 3 vegetarian dishes on the list each quite unique and a vegetarian special. All being vegetarian we were thrilled. The bar offered a great selection of real ales too. Staff friendly and attentive. I have it on good Authority the deserts were divine!

We were staying close by in a hotel whose menu was a bit pricy, so decided to eat out. Glad we did. The staff were friendly and we were seated at our table promptly. Drinks were served and orders taken very swiftly. We just had main courses, which took about 10 minutes to arrive - very good considering every table... More
