Consistently good

This was my 4th time dining here. It's great for an early dinner, especially if you have children, they have high chairs & a kids menu. The food has always been good. Great flavours & cooked perfectly. They also do BYO. I recommend to book if you want a table anytime from 7pm because it is a... read more

I found this restaurant very over priced for a fish & chips. The fish of the day was tasteless with chips some tomato over the top, the chips were nice but really $27. There were no cloths on the tables so not sure why they charge so much. Hope they pay their staff well. I would never go back and... More

What a disappointing meal, in fact one of the worst fish meals dining out. I had ‘fish of the day’ being Yellow Eye. It was dry and tasteless. I also ordered a side order of ‘hand cut chips’. I am not disputing that they were hand cut but it was more like the leftovers from a bag of frozen chips.... More

Fish & Co has a philosophy of using only sustainable fish. I love the concept and believe that we should support such ventures. Two companions and I visited last Friday (22nd October 2013). The restaurant has had a face lift since out earlier visits. The service was excellent. We shared two starters, the salt & pepper cuttlefish and the mussels... More

Limited selection and inattentive service. We have been on previous visits to Sydney but this time, we felt the standard had dropped. Fish and chips looked amazing but not wanting anything that heavy, we ordered more expensive grilled/baked choices. The hake was dry and the salmon just OK. We could have dropped dead and the servers would have not noticed.

We dined here for Good Friday lunch (6 people). The prawn cakes for entrée were nice however the ceviche looked amazing and the mussels and clams received rave reviews from my fellow diners. The hoki and chips for main was amazing. The best batter on fish I have had in a long time, not oily but delicious. Fat, skin on... More

We were invited to a Birthday Party at this restaurant. The chef, Tom Kime, of this establishment, which is hatted, is both a cook and a writer. The fish offered at this restaurant are wild, not farmed and are sourced from sustainable fisheries world wide. You can also buy your fish here and cook at home. We were served a... More

THe title says it all. Also, it's overpriced. The waiters are inattentive and they asked three times in the space of two minutes whether we wanted to see the dessert menu. They were not in a hurry to seat us even though we had a booking but they were certainly in a hurry to push us out. When they brought... More

Fish was delicious, but thought it was a little over priced, service was good but took too long to get our first meal.

Well one of worlds great conundrums, does one share a great local cafe and reward great food and service, or keep it a secret and be selfish in hope that there will always be a spare table just down the road. Throwing caution to the wind I feel I must share, last weeks meal. First of all we headed off... More
