Superbe!

Fantastic experience! In fact, the best in Languedoc, with no hesitation. The food is an adventure, with new tastes exploding on the palet, beautifully decorated plates that are simply mouth watering. We went here with friends on a wednesday night, we did well to get a reservation and the place was packed when service was in full swing. Extremely proficient service and the chef comes periodically to talk to diners. We were served smoked mussels as a prelim, which was amazing, after than and the amuse-bouche that followed I was already... More

Four of us visited O Bontemps in September for my wife's and my wedding anniversary, along with my sister and brother-in-law. The restaurant is in the heart of Magalas village, and is in a beautifully restored old building. The decor and ambience is excellent, and we noticed that although there were about 18 diners on the night we were there,... More

Simple, clean decor. I was told this was "the best table in the region". Seeing I do not really know much about this region, this was very nice. What was cool, was that we were 18 in our group, and we sort of owned the place for the evening. Everything other people have mentioned was pretty accurate; you do not... More

Four of us had a wonderful meal here last Thursday night. From start to finish, the food was excellent - creative, tasty, seasonal, well-prepared and well-priced. As good as the food was, however, it was the service and hospitality that really made the evening. The staff was extremely helpful (and patient with our limited French) and the service was great.... I and my husband, together with my brother and his wife recently had the great pleasure to eat at this excellent restaurant, the place itself is small, but there is plenty of space and each table is far enough away from it's neighbour to not overhear their conversation, decoratively it is a nice bright and modern place and scrupulously clean.... We had a very good experience when having dinner at the Bontemps. We had a meny with both fish and meat. Everything was good but maybe not exceptionell except the mussels we had before the dinner even started. The best moules I have ever tasted. The staff is more than you can ask for. Really nice.

When you arrive here take up the offer of ignoring the menu and just tell the hostess what you like and don't like. They will prepare you a meal made ftom locally, caught, grow and prepared foods that you will never forget. The flavours of the food are excellent, the wines are individually chosen and the cheese board is to... More

This restaurant in the centre of Magalas offers a greats dining experience and is well worth a visit when you are in the area. The restaurant, an old butchers shop, is well appointed and the staff are very friendly and deliver good service. Best of all is the personal welcome you get from the chef! We loved the way the... Delicious food, presented beautifully and with style by Olivier and his team. You have to go with the food prepared that day, so if you want to order whatever you usually have, this is not the place for you- but if you want to be delighted and surprised by the fresh ingredients and innovative cooking, then you'll not find a...
