Had lunch in the restaurant yesterday and greatly enjoyed it. It's popularity was obvious by the large numbers of people with reservations. Melon in the starter was quite hard and not very tasty however the rest of the meal more than made up for it. The vegetables were well cooked and the turkey tender. The fish was well battered and... 6 of us dined here today. Lovely welcome by staff whose attentive but unobtrusive service continued throughout our visit. 5 of us chose the carvery, 1 had Haddock & Chips. All of the food was fresh & tasty. Superb carvery, large selection of vegetables and huge portions of meat (ham, beef & turkey). 4 in the party chose desserts, which... More

If you're looking for good value for money, you can't beat the Sunday carvery. All you can eat. Food tasted great and was topped up regularly so always fresh.

Stayed for the Sunday Carvary after the very excellent Texas Scramble (golf competition for non golfers) and it was absolutely excellent, in value, choice and service. .... £10.95 with as many returns for seconds of meat and vegetable as we wanted. Had a meal there previously midweek after a round of golf at Glen Isla golf course (where purvey was... More

On a golf trip to play a round on Glenisla golf course near Alyth. Finished round and went into the clubhouse for something to eat and all they had was filled rolls, which seemed strange as the course was busy! So we left there and on our travels passed the nearby Strathmore golf centre, popped in on the off chance... More

We go here most Sundays with my family and friends as the Carvery is just fab! Great price too with very welcome staff and attentive service.

This was to be lunch with our friends who have moved to Scotland. There was a great selection on the carvery, and whilst you could go back for more, I was well satisfied with what we had. Very busy and I guess you need to book to make sure you get in.

We were there for Sunday lunch and it was a meal to remember. The turkey, ham and beef were done to perfection and accompanied by a large choice of veg. Those with gargantuan appetites returned to refill their plates as the price includes 'as much as you can eat'. A delicious raspberry sorbet and excellent coffee rounded off the meal.... More

Ate here tonight. Fabulous steak and frankly michelin star pudding. Staff were first class. There when you needed them, but not hanging over you. Will be back!

The food in this Golf Club leaves a lot of expensive hotels/restaurants in the shade. The Carvery we had was excellent, the quality of the meats, turkey, ham, beef was first class and the choice of vegetables was too numerous to mention. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the Lady Manager runs a very successful ship.
