We chose to go to Roosters recently and despite phoning the day before, were advised that they don't take bookings for groups less than 10 people. As such we chose to avoid the main lunchtime period and arrived after 2pm on Sunday. Roosters has a great menu and a lovely setting but unfortunately unless you are prepared to sit outside... More

Visited Roosters on Thursday, part of a party of 12. What a great evening. Personal table service. Nothing too much trouble. Food was lovely and the service we received by Amy Parkes was second to none! We mentioned to Amy we had a lady in our group who's 40th birthday was coming up at the weekend so she very kindly... Slow, slower and slowest service ever! Top tip: If you want to eat at Roosters then prepare yourself for a very very long wait. We have eaten here many times over the years, and I regret to say that the service is becoming slower and slower and slower! I actually couldn't believe it was possible! And yet, today we were... I have been dining at Morley Hayes for many years, because of the consistent high quality of the food, value for money and friendliness of the staff. Last night's Roosters meal of sea bass with sweet potato and ratatouille was exceptional - the best I've ever had. Well done Morley Hayes!

Planned to visit this restaurant with a party of 7. Phoned earlier in the week to see if I could book as it was quite a large party. It was explained to me that they could only take bookings for 10 or more people but although it was expected to be busy when we visited I was ensured that the... More

We dined here 2 nights when we stayed at the hotel. They have a wide range of dishes at affordable prices. I had the pulled pork burger which was delicious, it came with coleslaw, chips and salad. I would have liked to have a dessert but I just could not manage one.The restaurant is always full with a great atmosphere... More

Ate here with friends a few days ago. It was incredibly busy (as always - to me the sign that it is very popular and therefore very good). Despite the outdoor courtyard area also being completely full, the meal was served in very reasonable time, and was piping hot. The plaice was beautifully fresh, and obviously freshly cooked. There was... More

Went here for my wife,s birthday with our family. The place is really nice and the staff are pleasant. We found the menu prices expensive for what you got ( a 6 ounce rump was £12.95) and was not good quality, The plaice which i had was a very small portion and looked like it came from Iceland packet (not... We regularly visit Morley Hayes when we are visiting family in the area. The staff are always polite and efficient, the food always a good quality and value for money. I would recommend the food and drink for carnivores and vegetarians alike: there is always a good veggie choice. No need to book but expect the restaurant to be busy... More
