Excellent fish

Been to this place with my wife in summer 2014 & 2015. In our opinion one of the best places on the island for fresh fish. The staff is friendly but usually a bit overloaded and unorganized - the food however is highly recommended !

So. Much. Food. Okay, perhaps we over ordered, but it was hard not to! Everything sounded so wonderful. Definitely get the mussels. We were there for one evening of live music which was a wonderful added bonus that we were not aware of! The staff were very welcoming and helpful and so lovely that they gave us a free dessert.... We ate here this year as we stayed in Pollonia . We heard the live music and the atmosphere seemed good . So we gave it a shot . My wife had the chicken Soulvaki , and I had the Pork one . Both dishes came with fries . The size of the meat portions were large . And sure... More

After 5 nights of eating around Milos we decided to try Apanemia after many recommendations from the locals. We found the food to be the best we have had in Milos. Our fried halloumi, Greek salad, moussaka and domatokeftethes ( tomato fritters) were superb. My favourite however was the fried zucchini !! So light and fresh , not what I... More

Can't say enough about the how amazing we were treated when coming to this restaurant. Great hospitality and very good food. Prices were comparable to most places in the area. Daily meal specials were amazing!.

We stayed in Pollonia and ate at this restaurant twice. The fried halloumi is absolutely to die for! It is served with a side of fig butter and we got it both nights. The greek salad is quite nice and the staff is incredibly friendly - most restaurants in Pollonia have excellent service, but this was particularly friendly and enjoyable... More

We get to know Apanemia via the cooking lessons that are organised there and we really enjoyed. The staff was welcoming and told us details about the plates and the food quality was excellent. We also enjoyed the live music there (in the evenings only) Try the sea food rissoto, is very good!

We loved this restaurant. It offers great food and friendly service for a very reasonable price. The chef that manned the grill was super friendly. He did not mind talking to me at all while cooking up some delicious food. We wished we could have dined there for another night before we left Milos.

Difficult to qualify, as the food, although abundant, was nothing out of this world and some may be bothered by the cats. Nevertheless, the terrace setting is pleasant and the live music with a trio playing and singing traditional songs made for a lovely evening. When you call, ask if there is live music first.
