Menu of the day well worth a try. No need to bother with tea time. Very generous portions of tasty food. Great value.

This was not a our usual dining time as we went tho the Village Centre on this Sunday night and live band was playing in the Square as well as funfair going on across the way. Fair number of people were milling around as crowd was swelling to was the 'concert'. We were lucky to get a table for four... More

To sum up the food was way to rich and the house wine very poor, felt ill all night. It does look like a very nice pizza restaurant inside but be careful. Maybe we where just unlucky.

I recently visited the Cathar Country at the suggestion of friends in Alabama. At their suggestion, my traveling companions and I stayed in Quillan, France, for several days and dined several times at "Le Capio." The food was absolutely delicious, the service was most friendly and courteous, and the atmosphere was perfect. I can personally vouch for and recommend the... More

My wife and I visited to the Capio on a late May Bank Holiday at 1.40 pm as other local restaurants (which we knew) were full and we had not pre-booked. To say the service was poor is an understatement. Initially when walking through the door the welcome was non-existent. Our French friend who was with us believed that the... More

We had been recommended this restaurant, but had been warned that the experience would depend upon the proprietor's mood. I guess he was in a so-so mood when we went. The service was slow and it was difficult to catch his eye. I had cassoulet - I have had better in France, and in New Zealand. My café crème was... More

The Capio is run by a husband and wife time. Extensive menu with daily and wekly specials available. A blend of traditional French cuisine with the addition of a great range of home made pizzas. Nice selection of fish dishes, and a big plus, for Vegestarians there is always at least 3 meals available. Wine selection good, the 'house wine'... More

Upstairs in the square above a bar you will find a Quillans great secret in Capio Restaurant. Mid priced foods with pastas under 10 Euros and main mains around the 12 to 14 mark. Balkan steak, Bulls stew and any of the duck dishes are particular favourites. The paella for 2 takes 30 minutes so either let them know beforehand... More

We really love this place. The menu changes frequently and the food is always excellent and plentiful. The Balkan steak and the Roebuck stew are personal favourites. Reasonably priced with Pasta dishes around 8 Euros and Pizzas around 9 Euros. If your not huge eaters the Catalan bread is enough for 2.
