Excellent location, timetravell into the 80's

Restaurant on the promenade Danube in Vác. Good location, tables in shadow. You can enter with bikes. The dishes are rather good, than bad, but forgettable, nothing special. A part of the tableware is from the ancient state-owned company in the 80's, also the floor to the restrooms, and the... read more

We ordered "Dunai Fishplate for 2 preson" for the high price (as it is olny the fish without garnish) we hoped delicius fishplate but we became really disappointed, as we received 8 pieces of small fishparts (about 4*7 cm). We told to the waitress our complain, but the only thing she did, that she told us, that she'll let the... More

Typical Hungarian kitchen and lots of dishes from fish. Delicious, not so expensive. The view is great. I like to sit outside next to the river. The service could be better (waiters I mean).

Had a Sunday lunch here with friends. The menu is typical Hungarian, the portions are big, but nothing new or funky. The restaurant could be refurbished now, mainly the toilets. The staff is working as fast as they can. Overall good experience.

Decent food, standard Magyar kitchen, somewhat uninspired. Nice setting, good service. Dependable. Outdoor dining in the warmer months. Right by the river.

We had dinner here on a cycling trip, just before sunset, on the terrace. Youcan see the danube through the trees. The atmoshere was nice. We dont understand any hungarian and had our difficulties understanding the menu since it was not translated, but the waitress who was very friendly was able to help us. The food was niccely arranged on... More

The restaurant is situated on the Danube bank near the ferry. Summer time is better as you can sit outside. Anyway we tried the food in the winter. The service was very good. As to the food there is a good choice especially fish. The decoration is normal + they have a small aquarium which is interesting for kids. Do... More
