Never too far

If you are in the need of some fine cake and you cannot get it because the city is full with low quality boring usual dessert shops take a travel to Vác. Beautiful cakes made with great creativity, nice place in a nice city full with churches, charming main square and Danube side. Worth a trip!

Very unic!!!! Every sweets are reconsidered in this sweet shop. Small place only two table inside, more outside. So many people are there becuase everybody wants to try. My best is the Danube scree. It looks like a real scree!!! And the second best is the drummer cake! The form of the cake is more designed, and the taste is... More

We ate rakoczi turos, which was the best of the three, maybe a bit too sweet. The cheesecake was okay, and no resemblance to the "real" cheesecake taste. My wife 's framboise was also in the OK category. For 1000 huf / cake we expected a lot more. For this price you can get an unforgettable experience at Magnolia in... More

More famous than good. One of the best confectionery but terribly expensive and the service is incredibly slow. Used to be better some years before.

One of my favourite ice creams, beautiful and delicious desserts in the heart of Vác. I absolutely love it.

Having an ice cream at the Desszert Szalon can be an adventure, as they have a constant supply of imaginative varieties. Their cakes are simply beautiful, small pieces of art to look at, great taste too. Not cheap, though.

Desszertszalon is located in Vac, it takes 40 mins to get there from Budapest. They create masterpieces of cakes. The offer is changing, so if you go there yearly, you can discover something new. A lot of attention is put on both the looks and the taste. I am sure that they could compete with the best quality in Paris... More

Paris is well famous for their macarons, we went to Paris in January and visited Pierre Herme. If you compare this venue with the most famous "Macaron House" in the world, you're better off here! These macarons taste very well, especially their "Borra Borra" macarons. These are made with the best vanilla you can find. Ok, they are more expensive,... More
