Great wines, average food

The place is gourgeous, we were impressed when we got there. But the staff seemed a bit too away, they placed us on the table without a word, and then just poured the water and placed the bread on the table. Then, served the first wine with only a few words about it. The first course was good, it... read more

We were there for a wine paired lunch that was delightful. The food perfectly prepared and the wines paired complimented perfectly. We had empanadas de humita, steak, salad, pasta, dessert. The view from the dining room of the wine yard and mountains was amazing. A truly unique experience.

After finishing my third winery tour I settled down for a truly special meal. We were the only couple in the restaurant that looked out onto the vineyards with the Andes towering in the background. Our lunch consisted of 5 courses each accompanied with it's own wine. One course was better than the next. Unlike the rest fo the country... More

The five course tasting menu (with wine pairings) cannot be beaten! It was the best meal that we had while in Mendoza. The wines are absolutely wonderful too. We left with two bottles (although I would have loved them all). You must try the sweet Malbec. Out. Of. This. World!

Make sure to put Melipal on the top of your list for places to experience when visiting Mendoza. The 5 course meal with paring was by far the best meal we had our entire two week stay while visiting Argentina in April. The view couldn't have been more amazing overlooking The Andes Mountains, a friendly staff, great service, wonderful wine... More

Eat like an Iron chef with wines specifically paired! Beautiful food, beautiful atmosphere, great service. We felt very pampered. Worth the price.

We did not know this bodega. It was a sugestion from de concierge of Hyatt. The restaurant is so beautiful. The view of the wineyard while we eat was a delight. They offer a closed menu with wine tasting. I'm not a meet fan, so the chef made me a wonderful pasta instead. It worth the visit, no doubt.

We had the good fortune to stop at Bodega Melipal on our wine tasting extravaganza and they didn't disappoint. By far the best wine and food of our trip.

After a morning spent visiting vineyards in Mendoza, Argentina, a table with a view of the Melipal vineyards was a great way to relax and enjoy a leisurely 5-course lunch with wine pairings. The first course was a salad of seasonal greens with frozen melon and dry prociutto paired with an Ikella Torrontes from their vineyards in Salta. The second... More

This winery was recommended to us by the staff at Mendoza Holidays, so we took a chance. It was a fabulous experience... a multi course wine paring lunch. Definitely a memorable experience.
