We like the burgers and beers at Pine Lake Ale House, but the rest of the food is just okay. It's the atmosphere and hometown feel of the place that draws us back. There can be long waits if the restaurant is busy, especially after sports groups descend.

They have an extensive menu of well prepared food with generous prices. The service is always prompt and friendly. The have an impressive array of local beers on tap. Families are welcome.

The Ale House is a nice, friendly pub on the Plateau. The wait staff is great and their beer selection is very good, lots of variety and craft brews. Their burgers are very good, but most everything else is just okay. It is also fairly pricey. It can get very busy with long waits on weekends and in the odd... More

Great burgers, excellent selection of beers, very friendly staff. I don't go often, but should, because it's a very comfortable place to hang with friends. Families come here, after-sports groups and folks who just want to have a drink and watch the TV, too.

Nice local place, food is good but a bit pricey. Can have long waits for Friday and Saturday nights. Families are welcome for dinner, but really is an Ale house after the dinner hour. Noise level is high and makes conversation difficult when it is busy. Wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They also serve alcohol in addition to beer... More

When if first opened it was great, my favorites were the fries and salads, now it's still the same menu all these years later and they don't mind rushing you out the door whether you're ready to leave on not if they're busy. My biggest pet peeve it that I have to wait until 1:00pm to get lunch on a... More

Good place to drop in for a great burger and a beer. They have a full bar as well. Also very good breakfast on the weekends, my favorite being the Italian omelet which is loaded with prosciutto, artichokes, cheese, basil, etc. The pancakes are huge with a hint of cinnamon. Portions are very generous, and my husband and I usually... More

The food used to be fresh and worth the wait. Now their specialty item of fish and chips consists of two very small pieces (think Gorton's fish fillet), yet the price is the same. Plan on little service as the wait staff seems to chose their favorite customers and barely acknowledges the rest of the staff. The best thing about... More

They always have great beer on tap and the servers are too notch. Best food around. I highly recommend this place to come spend time with friends and relax.
