Julia and Dieter Hoelscher are really enjoying to run this restaurant, providing a great range of tasty food for meat lovers and vegetarians. For saturday evening you should book in advance as they are well booked.

We stayed at the Palmse Manor Guesthouse and we were told that we could eat here. So we came here for dinner. We both ate chicken fillets covered in mushroom sauces, roast potatoes and warm beetroots. This was our best dinner in the Baltic Countries in 1.5 weeks. We loved it all. We were also served warm Estonian scones, brown and... More

It is Estonian and German food very well ellaborated. The place is very nice, specially the terrace, with a beautiful view to the fields and a very lovely garden. It is the best place in the área to have a good lunch.

Just few meters from Palmse Restaurant. Good food for reasonable price. Waitress - perhaps owner - speaks many different languages, with sense of humor. Certainly recommend for anyone, you won't be sorry.

Impolite and rude service. I arrived on the place on Sunday afternoon, went to the bartender and asked if they serve some food. He: I don't know! Me: Umm, what do you mean? He: you can, but it takes time. Me: How much time? He: I don't know. By the time I was already reading the menu and asked him:... More

This superb restaurant is found near Palmse Manor Hotel. Julia and Dieter Holscher delivered superb food, from Venison and various seafood to Pasta and Hungarian Goulasch in friendly surroundings. The menu is not vast but there is a good choice for everyone and it is cooked to perfection. We don't usually like revisiting the same restaurant but we went twice... More

Huge oversize portions are personally delivered by his wife... More

The restaurant was not our destination, but the Palmse Korts across the road was full so we decided to opt for the Lahemaa Kohvikann instead. The building is quite new and the interior looked alright, so the five of us took seats. Having looked at the menu, the prices seemed very high compared to the other restaurants, some 30% higher... Prices are more than average, but this is totally understandable - it is situated in a tourist place. But dishes are so tasty. The great variety of dishes, nice atmosphere and, of course, delicious food.Order pasta gorgonzola and this will be the best pasta that you've tried. And yes, host and hostess are so friendly and open. I really want... More

Last week, and not for the first time we visited Kohvikann, during traveling the Lahemaa national park. The restaurant is spotless, the menu has a great variety of dishes - we were 6 people, all enjoyed very tasty dishes! The place is totally kids friendly, in terms of food and space (kids can even safely go outside and play in... More
