Not a fine dining experience but good value

There are plenty of times on holiday when what you need is a no nonsense and good value meal and this is what this place serves up. We have had far better pastas and pizzas on our travels around Sicily but this is a seaside resort. Prices are a little higher and overall it seems harder here to find... read more

My friends from Comiso took me on the nigth to watch the game Barcelona & Bayern and they order for me. Amazing 4 different seafood plates , each one different flavors , my hat off for the cook , the best time to go is on the nigth between 20:30 and 21:30

Although we can't complain about the food we were disappointed by the staff. Had to wait 40 minutes for the antipasti, although the place was almost empty. We then decided to have our dinner packed for take away-bummer. Over all compared to the experiences we have mad at our restaurants during our trip we were disappointed.

Opens not before 8 pm, but the personal was polite and observant (but at bit unattended due to a football match on TV). Nice seafood, but the dorada portion was a bit small. "Fillet" was of uncertain animal origin, but ok. Local wine cheap and ok. Pizza is also on the menu. The atmosphere is not very appealing - wide... More

We were in this restaurant for three times and were very impressed all the time. We found a high level of both service and the food. There are excellent fish dishes and a rich wine list. Don’t be afraid of the near located petrol station, the food and service is just perfect.

Ate here a few times over our holiday. The service is excellent. Professional and efficient yet friendly. Good for pastas, fish and the pizzas are excellent. The restaurant is not amazing but its is a lovely place to eat because of the staff.

We arrived in the area very late and went in at 2330 on a Saturday night. We were not the last in and it was very busy. Like most restaurants in Marina Di Ragusa this is a no nonsense pizza, pasta, meat, fish place. Not haute cuisine but good value and just the sort of place you need by the... More

Went for dinner at this pizzeria / restaurant following a good recommendation from our hotel staff, and left disappointed. Perhaps the off-season period (mid-February) didn't help, yet wouldn't describe this venue as anything beyond standard. I had potato croquettes as starter, which came straight off any supermarket's frozen shelf -- including the unexpected McDonald's-like ketchup and mayo sachets: a first... More

I 'm talking about the restaurant. Service: impeccable. No waiting time. Courteous and warm waiters. Quality food: quite delicious. Starters and main courses of fish are simply outstanding. Price: incredibly cheap. 20€ - 30€ per person if you choose to stand up from the table satisfied. PS: there's a table in the external dining area that I love to sit... More

We went to La Falena on Saturday 24th and booked for 930. We were allowed in at about 1010 as there was a mix up with the table. It actually turned out that the table was ready all along and there was lack of communication between the staff and the entertainer who stands at the entrance and calms all the... More
