A true gem!

Franco is a most gregarious and helpful waiter (possibly owner?), who welcomed us heartily for three dinners here. Food is superb, particularly all pasta dishes. Veal scallopine al limone has an amazing sauce. Portions are huge. A special treat is the olive oil tasting: Franco wheels a cart of... read more

Restaurant Tre Archi is a great place to stop and have a nice Tuscan meal. We thought the restaurant had a great ambience. The food was well-prepared and portions were good. Additionally the owner was very pleasant to deal with. Menus were in both Italian and English and the owner was very accommodating.

My fiancé and I stumbled across this restaurant on our way across tuscany. We were greeted with a smile and quick service. Once seated the waiter brought bread and a table of olive oils to try, they were all amazing. The house red wine was also great value for money. I had a simple spaghetti pomodoro and my fiancé had... On our way to Volterra we drove by, and remembered this restaurant because of tripadvisor. We can highly recommend Tre Archi! The owner is a very friendly man, his wife cooks and she does a very good job! Starting with bruschetta, a classic dish. Very nice! After that we both enjoyed the pappardelle with cinghiale, delicious. Maybe the best we've... More

A real find of a restaurant! We were staying at the nearby Antico Borgo il Cardino B&B and were recommended to try this restaurant on our first night. It is a short walk up the hill. Being vegetarian, we tended to stick to Antipasto and Primo with possibly a vegetable or salad as the Secondo course is almost exclusively meat... More

This is a lovely little restaurant - unassuming but well presented home made food. The owner is a lovely man who makes guests feel special. Enjoyed it so much, we went back for lunch the next day.

We ate twice in this lovely friendly restaurant - love the fact you get a choice of 8 different olive oils to dip your bread in at start. Food excellent, owner very friendly and accommodating - both visits very good

When we arrived at Tre Archi after a long day of travel to begin our vacation in Tuscany, we received an awesome welcome and were made to feel right at home. The owner was super-friendly to our 4 grandchildren. Delicious food, including many special and iconic Tuscan dishes. Don't miss carabaccia (soup), antipasta di Lisa, the mousse, the tiny lamb...
