Perfect for mountain bikers

Superb bunk house with really good comfy beds. I think it must have had a recent face lift because everything seemed very new. The showers were excellent, very hot and I liked the disposable shower mats. The breakfast was cracking, enough to keep you going for the day and the evening meals are... read more

I was directed here by the lovely staff at the B and B . Upon arrival the staff appeared to take the attitude that serving me was too much effort and an unreasonable request . I didn't expect a Royal Welcome but a common courtesy of acknowlagement of a customers presence is surely a must ? The food was mediocre... More

We had the 8 person bunk room for 2 nights which was perfect for us, it was clean and well maintained and gave us somewhere to kip for the night - for the money it was good value. The hospitality was lovely as well although the owners have clearly had some bad experiences with stag-do's and the like from their... More

Stayed with 2 friends for a night whilst walking in the Brecon Beacons. The Bunkhouse was comfortable with warm showers. A little too hot during the night but this was rectified by opening the windows. A little noise from the bar which is underneath the bunkhouse, but really nothing to complain about. We ate at the pub the night we... More

We had been trying to eat here for sometime but never got round to it. I decided to bit the bullet and booked a table for two. We arrived early got ourselves a drink ordered our meal. A short time later we were lead to out table. My partner Linsay had ordered the lamb shank and I had ordered salmon... More

Two of us stayed in the bunkhouse for a long weekend's walking. It was certainly warm and clean but there was just the pair of us for two nights plus another four in the other room for one night, so we didn't have the trouble getting shower time which has been mentioned in other reviews, and it would have been... I went to the butchers arms around Half 6, ordered drinks and had a table straight away. I went with my boyfriend, and we both had a 3 course meal which was beautiful. I would recommend the sirloin steak which is a great size and well worth the money. I had the garlic mushrooms, followed by the lasagna and then... More

We stayed at the pub/bunkhouse for a 2 nights in a group of 8 of us. After reading reviews on here I wasnt too sure what to expect (not a lot!) but it turned out to be a great place to stay! The rooms were spotless along with the showers also. The bunkbeds were really comfy (which makes a change!)... More
