Visited the pub with friends we were staying with, and enjoyed a lovely evening. Great atmosphere, the two front of house girls gave friendly and professional service. The food was of an extremely good standard. Four of our group of 5 had fish dishes, the 5th had the burger selection and all meals were considered top notch. This is high-end... More

Visited mid week on a dreary August evening. Came with work colleagues who were visiting. Great choice on the menu but choose fish. Beautifully cooked lemon sole. Very attentive waiting staff. Nice cosy atmosphere. Have been here for family meals previously and will continue to come back.

I have returned to this lovely pub with my friend after almost a year and was pleasantly surprised with the improved menu full of exciting choices. Portions are generous, tasty and great value for money. Specials are mainly fresh fish affording a variety which you would not find in your standard village pub. Golden Pot is the destination pub and... More
