good choice for vegetarians

Plenty of veggie options on an otherwise fairly standard pub grub menu. Decent real ale. Big place, large gardens.

Good choice in menu, dogs are welcome, a wait for food when busy so make sure your in no rush, wait staff didn't say anything to ease the time. Cheaper than some places nearby, normal pub food, not over friendly.

Chose this place because it was near to our B and B. The food was good - the liver and bacon was good and the chilli hot but not too hot.but no dessert was offered!

Have been here on many occasions with family and friends. Friendly service, good food well presented and reasonably priced.

This is the first negative review I have had to write, but it was an awful meal. We looked at the menu, and it sounded amazing. However it was microwaved, the mash potato was watery. The roast potatoes were re-heated. I personally expect good quality food when paying around £14 per a main, not for a ready meal. It was... More

Nice warm pub. Served a good range of drinks and kids had reasonably priced ice creams but only neopolitan flavours. Kids were able to play in the playground while the grown ups talked

A short walk from the beach to the town led us to discover this pub. We decided to stop for food, even though the place was booked up the staff managed to fit us in and were polite and helpful in doing so. We ordered and the food came quite quickly, what's more...it was delicious. The fish and chips was... More
