The Smugglers offers good pub grub at a reasonable price. Packed out on Saturday nights but still managed pleasant, efficient service in an enjoyable ambience.

The pub was across the road from where I was staying in Milford, right in the heart of the village. The menu was varied with specials available as well. We had a little bit of a wait, but it was well worth it. The food was fresh, tasty and plenty of it.The surroundings were pleasant and relaxing. We will certainly be returning.

Visited late Saturday lunchtime . The exterior of the smugglers on the road to key haven does not inspire , dirty windows, random articles piled up inside. On entering though a generally clean pub, don't eat inside if you don't like dogs, it seems to be acceptable . Fish and chips are excellent, piping hot, crispy batter and generous portions.... More

Great Inn. Friendly, lovely fresh food, reasonably priced, gorgeous steak pie. Kids loved the playground. Very welcoming after a long walk

We visited on a bank holiday sunday, so the place was nearly full. Since we did not have a reservation, we wer given the choice to sit outside, which was acceptable. Once outside, though, we were totally ignored. If you get serviced, the playground for the kids is very nice.

The staff were a bit sullen but the big problem was the food. The steak and kidney pie was like a cheap brake bros product. The chips were McCain oven chips or something just as tasteless. My wife's chilli had hardly any meat. My daughter's mac cheese tasted like it came from a tin. The cost was just under £30... More

We recently stayed in the area for a camping holiday and found this restaurant on day 4, by the time we had left we had been 4 times - the facilities are lovely and the food was amazing. There is a good sized garden with a play are for older children then a fenced off area for toddlers. The service... More

I came to Milford on Sea yesterday, with 3 friends(average age 74) None of us having ever been there before. We looked at other restaurants in the area, but decided to eat at the Smugglers Inn(lunchtime) as the menu looked more appealing. We walked through a small garden, which had some lovely hanging baskets, and on a hot day,It was lovely to... More
