We had roast beef at 6.00 on Sunday. I think you could have re-sold your shoes with the meat, it was so tough, I couldn't get my knife through it. We told the waitress, she apologised and changed it for roast pork, which was slightly better. I think the potatoes had been standing around for the last hour, they were... More

Went out to eat, heard there was good food here and did not disappoint. Sharing starter of Nachos was fresh tasty and plenty of it for 2 adults and 2 children to share. The children had Chicken burger which was a fillet of real chicken breast (no reconstituted rubbish all beautifully served with fresh salad and chips. my rump steak... More

Busy pub with a good selection of food, particularly the vegetables which were hot and COOKED! Only downside was a rather surly member of staff, who was having a "bad-hair day"

We stumbled upon the Smugglers Inn after visiting it before many moon's ago. My Wife and I had a wonderful meal and a pint in this lovely traditional Country pub. The meal was pipping hot and very flavoursome. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone who visits this area.

...............any eating establishment, is on a celebratory day. Here, fathers day was no exception. Did they pass muster? most definitely. My wife and I got the last table in the house when we booked 3 days previously and apart from one minor hiccup when we first arrived, everything went rather well. The place was absolutely heaving and we were amazed... More

We appreciated the welcome at this "dog friendly" pub and enjoyed our two visits during a short break in the area. The quantity and quality of the food was excellent and reasonably priced. The beer was good too! We would certainly return if we are in the locality again. Highly recommended!

Ate here last year and wasn't disappointed this year when stayed down the road. We ate here everyday at different times of the day. Menu to suit everyone and special board. Good size portions and not chips with everything - fresh vegetables options. Clean interior and friendly staff. Pavolva was fantastic
