Wednesday night offers you the choice of either chicken and chips, or moules frites, with a glass of house wine at an all-in price, that represents good value (the normal menu is also available). On both the occasions that we've been on a Wednesday evening, the restaurants ambience changes from "calm and quiet", to a much livelier "cafe / bistro"... More

We have just moved to the area and enjoyed a very tasty lunch with visiting friends. The fish soup was excellent. We will return to have dinner sometime soon.

Hidden Gem is an overused term but its true in this case. This was our second visit and it wont be our last, The service from Emily is friendly, efficient and knowledgeable and the food is fabulous. If this restaurant was nearer we would visit more often, however its worth going the extra mile for good dining on special occasions... More

La Perle is a very nice restaurant if you're looking for a calm, relaxing, quiet evening. The candles made it cozy, and the service is wonderful. I love how the chef comes and speaks to us after our meal, really friendly and honest, and the waitress was so pleasant. I had the steak for dinner and it was cooked to... More

This is the second time i have eaten at La Perle and it keeps getting better. Spoiled for choice on the menu and specials board. Full of some really exciting French specialties. Starter was my first l'escargot experience, which came in a delicious garlic sauce and was thoroughly enjoyable. Next was probably the best tasting steak i have eaten, cooked... More

I had the steak and my wife had skate wing, both dishes were very nice but over priced. My steak was 22 pounds which for an 8oz is a little excessive. The atmosphere was flat and the waitress seemed to be in a little panic. Needs work

We chose this restaurant as it look nice but not pretentious, with an interesting menu. The staff were lovely, the food was very good and atmosphere relaxed.
