Best dessert ever.

The restaurant itself is nice enough but the real stars of the show are: 1. the fish, naturally. We had between us turbot, scallops, lobster and more scallops. All were perfectly cooked to provide the right texture and had bags of flavour with the imaginative accompaniments. I would say this is... read more

I'm very impressed with services the chef came to explain what fish good with this and that and what it tests like. Excellent presentations I'm happy with that. Only one thing fish is quite small or I'm greedy??? I think I am.

We came across this restaurant by checking reviews on TripAdvisor. Boy am I glad I took the advice of many of the reviews and plumped for the 6 cost tasting menu. The restaurant itself is very tastefully decorated with a calm sea life theme. With some eye-catching original artworks and wooden sculptures made from driftwood. It is very cosy with... More

Excellent seafood restaurant with attentive service. I had the tuna - cooked red which was delicious. You choose your fish and then add one of four sauces/garnishes. Good choice available. Good starters too. I had the brixham crab (only because I'd had scallops very recently). Immaculately prepared - my only niggle was that the dressing detracted from the subtle flavours... More

We've just returned from our first visit to this little fish restaurant in Milford and what a visit it was. We only discovered it yesterday and decided to give it a go. We couldn't have been happier. The service was spot on, attentive and friendly and the food was first class. We had the 6 course tasting menu and at... More

Had the most amazing six course tasting menu this lunchtime, which, with pre meal tastings and petit four, was effectively nine courses. for 33 GBP each! My favourite restaurant. Michelin starred quality food in a relaxed atmosphere at amazing prices.

We have visited before, twice!!! so this tells you something. We were looking forward to our 3rd visit, on arrival we were greeted by a waitress who took us straight to our table near the kitchen garden and were given the menus to peruse. She did return within 5 minutes to take our drinks order. We all decided on Mains... More

We were recommended this restaurant by a friend living in the area. On visiting during the day, we were impressed by the accolades and reviews in the window (including the fact that the Chef, David Wykes, had worked with top Chefs in London), so booked a table for the evening of our visit to Milford-on-Sea. On arrival - we were... More

This is a very nice fish restaurant, not very big we came here for a special birthday and brought some friends who have dined in many of the best restaurants in England , as have we. It was very good, good value for its original tastes helpful service and no pressure to leave. There are some interesting homemade beverages worth... More
