So happy to find this pub after visiting this weekend for dinner and I must say it was refreshing to find such a great selection of choices on the vegetarian menu, in fact the entire menu. Also very clean and friendly place to eat with an inviting tone, and a 'pleased to have you' attitude. Bad customer service is a... More

My partner & I arrived at the White Heart, Cadnam at approximately 6.00pm, after a very enjoyable day at the Romsey Show. We were rather apprehensive as there were only 3 or 4 cars in the car park, however, we entered & asked for a table, we were told that there were only 2 spare tables as everything else was... More

What a wonderful experience we had at what seemed like a standard country pub. Exceptional selection of real ales and a wide selection on the menu. The combination of flavours made choosing very difficult. The quality of food was nothing less that 10/10. Absolutely perfect. I chose a bread and butter pudding purely because chef's always mess about with this... More

Delicious food, cooked to order rather than the normal quick churned out food you so often find in pubs. A very comfortable pub, the staff were very welcoming staff. Will certainly visit again if I ever travel through Cadman.

We called in here during an overnight stay in a nearby hotel. The White Hart was welcoming and even has a blackboard outside the main doors explaining how the food ordering system works - very helpful. We had a couple of drinks and beer battered haddock and chips each. The food was delicious (especially the batter!!!) and plenty of it... More

Driving through the New Forest we found the pub by chance, and dropped in for a Monday lunch. A nice location, and an interesting building with many small dining areas. Well received by the bar-staff, didn't realise that the two of them were the only dining staff on duty. They became overwhelmed by the number of diners, so although the... More

Pleasant place with friendly staff but the food was only OK and was expensive, as were the drinks. Also my cutlery was dirty. If you are in this area and want to eat, a better bet is the Sir John Barleycorn only about two hundred yards away.

I had 2 fish cakes & some garnish which was £10.95 incredibly overpriced tasted horrendous & found many fish bones in there which got stuck in my throat, after I explained my disappointment to the waiter she replied "that's not good is it" then walked off, not to mention the amount of time we had to wait to be served... Great menu choices, great food, great service, attentive without being overly so staff. All in all had a lovely evening and would thoroughly recommend.
