Excellent service, value for money and outstanding food. We will be returning again and again as we experienced the same quality all round on our last visit here too! Thank you.

Having been here a few weeks ago, we were happy to visit again on this special day! Fabulous service, all cooked to order, so not rushed, just how we like it. A chance to catch up with family and enjoy the beer and surroundings. Would definitely recommend!! The price is average for good gastro, well presented food. No complaints and... More

Lovely spot in a charming, pretty hamlet. Warm welcome from the landlord and staff. Rotherwick is tucked away but not far from Hook . Menu included pigeon, venison etc. unusual ! Huge selection of puddings , walnut ice cream was yummy. 2 courses for a tenner or you can chose from the menu. I had anchovy bruschetta followed by ham... More

Lovely Sunday afternoon spent having a Sunday roast while enjoying the sunshine in the beer garden. Food and service was excellent. Great pub with a garden that gets plenty of sunshine without having to fight for a table in the sun.

We had been recommended this pub, arrived at location and what a wonderful place it looked. Bar staff very friendly, food ordered and arrived. Bacon dry and well over cooked and we found a green fly in the lettuce. Yuck ! Real shame, would return but not for food.

Table for four of us at 7 o/clock. Food was good. Service was good. BUT two rounds of drinks 4 starters and 4 mains (No Puds) 4 coffees of which one was a parision. The bill came to £142. I consider it very very expensive for the small portions served. I'm afraid I shall be voting with my feet and... More

We ate there last evening. My wife had the Roast Chicken which was plentiful, well cooked and obviously from a fresh bird. I ordered Smoked haddock kedgeree which was tasty, albeit something of a "haddock-free zone"! Service was slow even though it was a quiet evening, but I put this down to the meals being cooked individually and on-demand so... More

Popped in for lunch yesterday. Surprising not busy. Even so the service was very slow. When commented told had just had a group in and that was it - no apologise !! Shame it has so much potential but these days has lost it's soul ?? Staff not over friendly for a village pub. General feeling on a good day... More

Four of us went to the Falcon today for lunch. We were pleasantly surprised to find that most of the food is locally sourced and that there was a lunch menu with 2 courses for £10.00 We opted for this and had mushroom soup followed by venison strips on a bed of rice with peppercorn sauce. Both courses were beautiful... More

A table for 2. Reasonable choices, fairly pricey for amount of food served. Adequate for my appetite, not so for my other half. Although that said food was presented well and tasted nice too. We only had a starter and main. Good ales and nice staff serving at bar. Total bill for food and 3 pints was £70.
