Homemade delights

Lovely welcoming place, great staff and too much lovely food, all home made, even the bread. Cakes are just too tempting, would recommend a visit

I have called in at Chantilly a number of times for morning coffee. The people are very friendly, the coffee and pastries are great and the atmosphere delightful. No wonder there has generally been only one free table when I have been in. Really worth a visit.

Had the Scouse which was excellent, but the best bit was the homemade crusty bread to mop up the gravy. The baked products pies and deserts were fantastic and we look forward to returning for more.

Have been a few time to Chantilly, this was the first time for lunch. As all the pies and cakes are homemade and look lovely and as it was a cold day decided to have the soup which I assumed would also be as good as they looked. Wrong. it was billed as farmhouse vegetable, mmmm. From a packet maybe.... More

Not sure you were expecting 4 bedraggled cyclists yesterday, but we were given a warm welcome and were treated to an exceptional lunch. We'll be back when we're not so wet to sample one of those delicious-looking afternoon teas! Thank you.

My Mum and I came here for lunch the other day. Thank goodness we got there early, the place was buzzing but we found a table. We had the most gorgeous food and the bread with my bowl of scouse is worth a particular note, it was exceptional. We didn't have room for cake for afters so we'll just have... More

We (and everyone else we've seen there as a customer) have always been given a warm welcome, no matter if we are dropping in for a quick coffee, or staying for food as well. I am confused by the review below, I was in Chantilly not long after they said they were there and there were a few tables with... More

We were asked to leave after being given a table and menu on a Saturday at 2:15pm because we were only ordering hot beverages. This is advertised as a tea and coffee shop not a restaurant and there are no signs stating you cannot order only drinks. We were treated with disrespect and will never visit again luckily we were... I came here with my mother and grandmother for a lunch. The staff were lovely and friendly, and the food was superb. The food is all home made and the cakes are arguably the best on the Wirral. A beautiful tucked away gem!

Just discovered this excellent gem of a tea room where the owners are really friendly and welcoming. The food is all homemade and we had trouble choosing from the tempting choice of savoury pies and gorgeous cakes. We will be back very soon!
