Brought my sister and her husband here for lunch and loved it! Great choice of food for small cafe and cakes were to die for. I had scouse which was packed with flavour. A wonderful retreat on a cold day. Try it you wont be disappointed. Only drawback is its cash only no cards.

Visited Hoylake with friends in august, had a late dessert-y breakfast. Stopped in for tea and scones along with a few other desserts. The baker/owner, Les, has a very inspirational passion for what he does. Make sure to get a hug from him before you leave.

Stopped in here one morning after dropping the kids off at school and I'd read good things. Well I was definitely happy we did! The place was empty but it was only 9:15am, but that didn't bother us. I had 2 poached egg on toast (homemade bread!) and my wife had croissant an jam. Half way through she had another... More

This is a high quality tea room; with standards and prices to match. But for my visit, it wasn't the full monty 5 star that I expected and which, in fairness, most people have experienced. It's not that its Trip Advisor commendations are not undeserved; I can see the obvious appeal to Hoylake's traditional visitors. It is rather odd, and... More

Not the biggest place, can get a little crowded, also they don't take card payments which is unfortunate, but more importatly they offer very nice food and drinks

This a great little cafe/restaurant. All the food is home made and they cater for most allergies/intolerances. I had the steak pie - sublime - followed by the lemon drizzle cake wonderful. \the portions are quite large couldn't fault it.

We came across Chantilly Tea Rooms whilst cycling The Wirral Circular Trail and needing a quick calorie intake. Chantilly is situated on The Quadrant in Hoylake, it has a lovely warm and cosy look to it, it was busy but not crowded and easy for us to lock up bikes. It was clear in entry this is a popular place... More

Dropped in for a coffee mid morning and shown to a nice table in a surprisingly busy yet spacious cafe. Super service at table, whilst only having a coffee which was great, I didn't feel under pressure to drink up and leave. Everyone in the restaurant seemed delighted with their fayre and excellent looking breakfasts appeared to be very popular. Staff... More

Very lovely cafe in Hoylake. We have visited a few times at busy and quiet times and have always received a very high standard of service, The cakes are amazing and the staff are all really friendly and helpful. The only downside is that as I have 2 children I cannot really sit inside unless it is very quiet as... More
