The reason this gets five stars by a lot of reviewers reflects the lack of really quality eating places in Potters Bar. The £6 English breakfast is really good value. I was just passing through and had lunch. Good food. Can't complain about anything. Good service and freshly cooked food. Would definitely visit again. The 'bistro the walk' a few... More

Was in the area in the morning and looked this place up. Went on the basis of the positive reviews on here and was not disappointed. The place is nice, modern and airy so has a good feel. Went for the vegetarian breakfast. Everything was tasty. The only negative is that you generally get 2 slices of toast but you... More

Went today with my mum and a friend for a cuppa and a chat. The whole time we were there, the cafe was busy with lots of returning customers. Staff were friendly and helpful and greeted their regulars like long lost friends I like my tea really weak and they provided me with two pots of hot water.. We only... More

A really friendly little cafe in Potters bar. Have eaten here on several occasions, with hubby, and in larger groups with friends. Good breakfast at a reasonable price. Nice lunches. Good selection on the menu. Staff are lovely. Manager/owner is so nice. This is a gem of a place to eat in Potters bar. Haven't had their afternoon tea but... More

I am feeling a little under the weather and the staff made me a lemon ginger and honey tea with a shot of brandy. It's not on the menu but it's these little extras which make me so glad I live near this place.

Much nicer decore than other cafes, more like a good restaurant. Reasonable food but... under cooked fried egg, lots on uncooked egg white on the top of the egg, a common fault with cafe fried eggs but this was one of the worst I have had. Sames as otherwise I would have given it a higher rating.

We go to the Oakmere Tea Rooms regularly, whether it's a late breakfast, lunch or just an afternoon coffee and cake, we are always made to feel welcome. It feels like we are guests somebodies home! Delightful

Staff very friendly, the food was very good value for money and well presented. As previously mentioned by others the home -made burger was delicious. Very clean with a relaxing atmosphere.
