As upgraded pubs go this was very acceptable. I will not go so far as to call it a gastro pub and I would deeply debate against anyone who categorised it as such. We are all to quick to label any modernised and updated pub as 'gastro' which immediately suggests amazing food. This is a well decorated and appointed eatery... More

Ye Olde Greene Manne is situated on the outskirts of Northwood. It seems very small from the outside but is a bit of a rabbit warren of rooms with plenty of tables to dine. It is a sister pub to the Pomeroy Inn in Amersham. The food is very good with plenty of choice and the service is very friendly.... More

Living in the area I have frequently visited this pub on many occasions. Our last visit, however, will certainly be the last. I visited with a group of 8 of us, service was abismal, the food was really delayed we waited 10 minutes in between each course being brought out consequently the first person who got their food had finished... After seeing the latest reviews we weren't sure about eating here but it was the closest place to where we were visiting. Apart from the pot holes in the car park it was perfect. Staff were friendly and the food was faultless. It's did seem to be very busy for a Monday early evening, which is a good sign. Food... More

We had a meal here on Saturday night having eaten here several times since it became a vintage inn - the starter (bread stale) and the main course of salmon was dried out with the salad something a 4 year old could have produced - no wonder the place was practically empty - very disappointing and a complete waste of... We had a good experience here overall. Food and service both recommended. They also catered well for kids. Only feedback would be that we booked for 12 pm sunday lunch but were then told we had to be off our table at 2pm. This felt tight, particularly as they only opened at 12! Be clearer on this when accepting the... More

This is a great summer pub to have drinks outside on the spacious terrace and also nice to have a meal seated either outside or indoors in the cosy restaurant. This was our third visit this summer as it is fairly local and we took visiting relatives out for dinner. The disabled access and facilities were really good and useful... More

My husband and I had lunch in Ye Olde Greene Manne today and found the interior of the Pub/Restaurant to be very attractive and well set out. We arrived at around 2.15 pm and were left standing at the bar (where there was a notice asking for visitors to wait to be seated) for about ten minutes before anyone approached... More

My local, so I have visited a fair few times. I've always found the food to be excellent for a pub chain. The wine list is good too. The real star of this restaurant is Amy......my favourite waitress. Amy is attentive but not overbearing or intrusive, knows the menu and is straight talking - a breath of fresh air!
