Lovely food in a secluded area

You won't expect to find a cafe in a park that would serve such delicious and upscaled dishes. Food was great, however, as the sun was out and the crowd large, we had to wait 20 minutes in the queue and a further 30 minutes for the food to arrive. Also, it was packed indoors, and with a baby in... read more

Ashamed that I have not reviewed before now. This place is a gem. A local cafe that really cares about the food, the customers and its staff. They are honest about the wait for your freshly prepared dish, but if you also put quality at the top of your list you won't mind. Seasonal produce sourced locally delivered by equally... More

Consistently good coffee, always well made. Even better they support a local farm to supply their milk, as well as the many other local suppliers they use. A great location, great building and the staff always friendly and cheerful!

There's always a warm welcome from Tina and the team. Great locally sourced and ethically produced food and great coffee. A nice place for lunch or just a snack, gets very busy at the weekends but the food is worth the wait. Highly recommended.

We went off grid (M25) on our way to Gatwick airport. This place is as good as advertised on their website. I had a veggy burger meal and my wife had cauliflower cheese with leaks. The taste was brilliant and it is obvious that they use good ingredients. When we go south again they will get another visit from us,... More

We dropped into this lovely cafe mid Sunday morning and it was great to be greeted by a smiley team that seemed to really enjoy serving. The atmosphere was buzzing and relaxed and the design cues made it feel like being in the States. The food was tasty and hot. Ordering was quick but the service was a little on... More

My grandson renamed the cafe as he always has cake there when grandpa takes him ! I like the style of food, the setting and the ambience. Can be noisy when the new mums are in but I quite like that. For those who don't there is a quiet room. The main down side is they only serve small cups... More

Hello Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your feedback, we are so glad you are enjoying your visits. Sorry to hear that you find our coffee cups small. We serve our coffee in the cups that we feel offer the best ratio of coffee to milk. However, we are always happy to serve any coffee in... More

Great little cafe set on the lake side near a number of walks of varying lengths. All on the flat! Service is very friendly but not the fastest but it's worth the wait. Choice and quality of food is high, there is plenty of seating inside and out, with some outside under cover. A nice place to refresh after walking... More
