I normally use the restaurant during the afternoon, On my latest visit the coffee was lukewarm and, frankly, not very nice. The [expensive] cakes looked nice but they sit on the counter completely unprotected, no thanks! At busy times when the place is full of buggies and children the service cannot really cope, although everyone is very busy. On the... More

We popped in for a bite to eat last Sunday. My daughter had the kids pizza. It was quite horrible! I think another poster bought up the same issue previously. I think it's the vegi cheese which lets it down. Greasy with an unpleasant odour. I know you buy in the base and use vegi cheese and tomato sauce but... More

Hello Many thanks for your feedback. I’m glad you have enjoyed your ‘excellent breakfasts’. Sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy the pizza. The base we use is an excellent flatbread that’s made locally to here, you’re right that we don’t make it ourselves, one of the very few products we buy in. We do however make a fabulous gluten... I really don't know how people can write a bad review about this place. The costumer service is excellent, they make you feel very welcome (along with the dogs)😜, the food is brilliant, they cater for gluten free which i am, sweet and savoury.... My personal fave is the street salad, wow.... You will not find a better street salad... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your feedback, we really do appreciate it. We are delighted with our quinoa based ‘park salad’, a great dish for all, especially those with an intolerance of gluten. Do continue to let us have your feedback and thank you again! Carly More

Flies hovering around food that's left out for people to help themselves. Kids let of the leash by selfish parents. Cold coffee. 'Home made' sausage rolls that look appetising but taste of nothing. A savoury scone that had a lump of flour the size of a large pea. Grubby tables and rubbish scattered around outside. Sky high prices; you will... More

We were out on a days cycling (as a family of 4) and came to the cafe for a drink. However, we ended up having some cakes and lattes and were amazed and very impressed by this cafe. Although we did not eat, we saw the food that was being brought out to other diners and it looked amazing. We... More

What a shame that the bigger and supposedly improved cafe was such a let down! We walked into a cramped queuing system and horrible loud music. Not a child friendly or push hair friendly setting at all. We ordered and waited at the end for our coffees where there was no system what so ever, people were taking each other's... More

Hello Firstly many thanks for your feedback, good and bad, we always appreciate it. I can honestly say that the situation you describe is unfamiliar and not something I recognise of ourselves and I would like to think that you have walked in on not only a bad day but a really bad moment as this is not our ‘norm’.... I have visited this cafe on many occasions and have found it to be excellent in every case. The staff are well trained and offer a friendly personalised service. The food is excellent and the atmosphere homely. Barbara Young

What a cute place situated at the start of the walking/cycling route. Timber framed cabin - with rustic interior. Stopped off on the way back from a few circuits around the lake. We only had drinks but they had a nice selection of snacks and some scrumptious looking home-made cakes. We sat outside on a bench table as the boys... More

Amazingly happy staff, brilliant food and excellent service!! The Cafe is not a fast food joint, it's a relaxing tranquil experience, with home made scrumptious everything! Pop in for breakfast or a quiet coffee and cake, we did and it was great! Pease keep up the great work, loved my sunny Sunday breakfast this morning at the Rickmansworth Aquadrome!

I'm really lucky to call this cafe my local. The food is always great, top quality ingredients and good sized portions. The menu choice is pretty exceptional, though I would like to see a few more veggie / vegan choices on the specials board. The staff are really friendly, the manageress always pops over for a chat and a laugh.... More

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. Funny you should mention Ottolenghi, we are taking our team there this week to look at his glorious cake and salad counter.
