Great for homemade cakes and hearty food

The aquadrome is a firm favorite for many people in this area and this little cafe is a great place to stop after a walk round with the kids.

We eat here regularly after dog walking/running and love it. Really friendly staff and a wholesome menu - the coffee is REALLY good too but a little reminder to fill the cup up to the top is sometimes needed (not cheap). My daughter and I are vegetarians and if we were being picky it would be great to have more... More

Hello Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your feedback and it is so lovely to hear that you are enjoying your visits here. I do agree about the number of vegetarian options, it is something we need to address and we are looking at this for our new menu. With regards the coffee, each different coffee... More

this is one of my favourite cafes - the Aquadrome is one of my favourite places to walk too! Carly runs a great operation serving delicious, healthy and ethically produced food. The decor is totally in keeping with the setting and the building and the atmosphere is buzzy, but there is also a quiet room where no children are allowed.... More

A charming cafe in Rickmansworth Aquadrome. Inside and outside seating. Very clean adjacent loos. Menu is good, healthy and varied. Good value. Great service.

Daily walks around the Aquadrome end in a visit to the great café. Yes there are days when the place is heaving with young mums and screaming children. If we all support the café more then perhaps they will be able to extend the quiet room giving us older customer a little more space. But get there early before yummy... More

Visited with an elderly friend on a cold, wet day in January hoping for a relaxed lunch and quiet chat. What a shock! The cafe was absolutely heaving with young women, their babies and toddlers and accompanying enormous push chairs and mountains of baby equipment. The atmosphere was chaotic, not helped by very loud music with a thumping bass beat... More

Firstly thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback, all feedback is useful. I am sorry that you felt the atmosphere was chaotic but I am really pleased that you enjoyed the calm of the Quiet Room. The music should definitely not have added to the feeling of chaos and sometimes a song does slip in that isn't... More

This is a delightful place. There are two very attractive rooms, one is totally child friendly and the other is peaceful and quiet with no children allowed. The food is very good and they sell little pots of bird seed with which you can feed the ducks, by the lake, after feeding yourselves! There is a good little park, swings... More

Hugely popular cafe in the park. All dishes are homemade and quality ingredients used. Great setting with a busy atmosphere. Really love the quiet room and delicious cakes and especially the carrot cake and their yummy burgers. There is always something new to try and this cafe is always looking at how it can make itself be even better! It... More

Thank you so much for your feedback. It is lovely when we hear that people recognise all that we do and that everything is made in house. It really does make such a difference to how everything tastes but most importantly to us, it ensures our staff continue to develop their skills and find this an interesting and fulfilling place... Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. We loved our Christmas lunches. It was great to do something a little different and we got to eat all the left-overs! They were extremely popular so we are planning to do offer Sunday roasts this year..watch this space. Thank you again, we really appreciate the time taken. Carly More

After a brisk walk around the lakes with our two year old we decided to stop for some lunch. Four of us shared two bowls of chicken broth which comes with freshly homemade bread. The broth was delicious and plenty for all of us. The flavour was great, fresh thyme really came through. We loved the rustic look with the... More
