Visited with an elderly friend on a cold, wet day in January hoping for a relaxed lunch and quiet chat. What a shock! The cafe was absolutely heaving with young women, their babies and toddlers and accompanying enormous push chairs and mountains of baby equipment. The atmosphere was chaotic, not helped by very loud music with a thumping bass beat... More

Firstly thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback, all feedback is useful. I am sorry that you felt the atmosphere was chaotic but I am really pleased that you enjoyed the calm of the Quiet Room. The music should definitely not have added to the feeling of chaos and sometimes a song does slip in that isn't... More

This is a delightful place. There are two very attractive rooms, one is totally child friendly and the other is peaceful and quiet with no children allowed. The food is very good and they sell little pots of bird seed with which you can feed the ducks, by the lake, after feeding yourselves! There is a good little park, swings... More

Hugely popular cafe in the park. All dishes are homemade and quality ingredients used. Great setting with a busy atmosphere. Really love the quiet room and delicious cakes and especially the carrot cake and their yummy burgers. There is always something new to try and this cafe is always looking at how it can make itself be even better! It... More

Thank you so much for your feedback. It is lovely when we hear that people recognise all that we do and that everything is made in house. It really does make such a difference to how everything tastes but most importantly to us, it ensures our staff continue to develop their skills and find this an interesting and fulfilling place... Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. We loved our Christmas lunches. It was great to do something a little different and we got to eat all the left-overs! They were extremely popular so we are planning to do offer Sunday roasts this year..watch this space. Thank you again, we really appreciate the time taken. Carly More

After a brisk walk around the lakes with our two year old we decided to stop for some lunch. Four of us shared two bowls of chicken broth which comes with freshly homemade bread. The broth was delicious and plenty for all of us. The flavour was great, fresh thyme really came through. We loved the rustic look with the... More

Very pleasant cafe in the aquadrome grounds. Very friendly and helpful staff, nothing is too much trouble. I had the park salad with falafel which was lovely. The coffees were good. I look forward to visiting again.

The cafe is located in the park near the aquadrome and has ample parking. The staff are helpful and welcoming. Although they don't offer cortados on the drinks list, when we askedfor them they went out of their way to concoct them. The food is relatively healthy and nicely presented. We drop in at the cafe once every few weeks... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your feedback. I am glad we looked after you and perhaps we should add cortados to our repertoire. Went with a friend to,this delightful Cafe in the grounds of the Aquadrome in Rickmansworth. My friend had been the week before and recommended it. I don't know if it is easy to get there without a car but it was certainly different. If you follow the sign to the Aquadrome which is a water sports centre plus two lakes... More

I visited The Cafe in the Park on 22nd dec 2014 as I'd booked it as a venue for afternoon tea for my 40th birthday. I'd opted for the quiet room as I loved its quirkiness and homely feel. What could beat a walk around the picturesque aquadrome followed by lunch (good home cooked food) or coffee and cake served by wonderful friendly staff?! Comfortable and cosy inside or a lakeside seat outside... Breakfasts yummy too and great for veggies! Very welcoming for families and a quiet room for those who want to get away from all that!
