We hired the studio next to the cafe for our son's birthday party. The studio is a lovely space with lots of room. We hired a children's entertainer and had 18 children plus adults and there was still plenty of space. The upstairs area is set up ready for the children to eat, plates included. The food is all freshly... More

I'm a regional manager for a catering company so I know I'm fussier than most but I'm conscious of it & try to be very fair. I Heard about this place so travelled 35 minutes to give it a try with my wife & two kids. The kids had fun, feeding the ducks & playing in the woods & park.... More

Hello Naturally we are really disappointed to have read your review and would like to pick up on a couple of points: Sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy our coffee. Sunday's weather was very mixed and this can really affect our grind. It may be on Sunday that with the queues as they were, we did not pay enough... More

Had the chicken livers on toast that was on as a special. It was just amazing. And the cakes are great too. Nice friendly staff too.

Stopped here only for coffee before but this time we stopped for lunch. Had the mezze platters and flatbreads and everything was just amazing. Fantastic and worth the minor queue to get served.

This is a lovely place for a weekend breakfast treat. The quality of the food is excellent; it is well made, delicious and varied. It isn't greasy joe prices but then its not greasy joe food. Thats why its such a treat. Staff are lovely. Always helpful and always polite and friendly. You can have to queue sometimes but thats... More

We have been there today for the first time. The cafe offers tasty genuine confort food. We had a lovely cafe burger and a nice bbq chicken. Simple, fresh and sustainable. Really good value for money.

As 2 members of our party are gluten free, nice to see so many gluten free choices, always served with a cheery smile, happy friendly atmosphere too. Stopped for a brunch ordered three gluten free breakfasts and was surprised that we had to check if the sausage was gluten free! It wasn't. Could easily have eaten this not knowing and... More

Hello Many thanks for your lovely review. So happy that we were able to offer all your guests a good choice. Sorry if you didn’t notice but on our menu it states that our breakfast is gluten free if ordered with gluten free bread and without sausages. I appreciate that we could have told you this as well rather than... More

I normally use the restaurant during the afternoon, On my latest visit the coffee was lukewarm and, frankly, not very nice. The [expensive] cakes looked nice but they sit on the counter completely unprotected, no thanks! At busy times when the place is full of buggies and children the service cannot really cope, although everyone is very busy. On the... More

We popped in for a bite to eat last Sunday. My daughter had the kids pizza. It was quite horrible! I think another poster bought up the same issue previously. I think it's the vegi cheese which lets it down. Greasy with an unpleasant odour. I know you buy in the base and use vegi cheese and tomato sauce but... More

Hello Many thanks for your feedback. I’m glad you have enjoyed your ‘excellent breakfasts’. Sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy the pizza. The base we use is an excellent flatbread that’s made locally to here, you’re right that we don’t make it ourselves, one of the very few products we buy in. We do however make a fabulous gluten... I really don't know how people can write a bad review about this place. The costumer service is excellent, they make you feel very welcome (along with the dogs)😜, the food is brilliant, they cater for gluten free which i am, sweet and savoury.... My personal fave is the street salad, wow.... You will not find a better street salad... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your feedback, we really do appreciate it. We are delighted with our quinoa based ‘park salad’, a great dish for all, especially those with an intolerance of gluten. Do continue to let us have your feedback and thank you again! Carly More
