Excellent food on both visits

Visited for lunch with my colleagues from Sweden who enjoyed it that much, asked me the next day if we were going back and how could I disappoint them. The first day I had fish & chips and it was superb, beautiful fresh cooked fish and hand cut chunky chips, it was fantastic. The next day I had... read more

we went to the Ashbourne to celebrate my daughters birthday, with her and her partner. The quality of the food was excellent although the menu seemed limited from previous visits. Staff very efficient ant attentive and looked after us well.

We have recently been to The Ashbourne for a family Sunday lunch, utilising the great offer that is currently valid. There is no getting away from how fabulous this venue is- we held our wedding reception here in 2010 so we hold it in very high regard... It's amazing to see that the venue is still as fabulous as ever,... More

We were a party of four, celebrating my son and daughters birthday. They were nineteen years old. Everyone had decided on a different main meal, and I must say we were delighted, the taste the presentation and the choice was superb. Well done to the chef. The price was expensive but it was worth it. The atmosphere was nice and... More

Very many thanks for the review of your son and daughter's birthday meal, we would gladly have arrange for some balloons had we known in advance, however it is something that is difficult to stock because there are so many variations to individual requirements i.e. male/female, age group, type of celebrations etc. however I am sure we could do this...
