The BEST Sunday lunch!!!

We have recently been to The Ashbourne for a family Sunday lunch, utilising the great offer that is currently valid. There is no getting away from how fabulous this venue is- we held our wedding reception here in 2010 so we hold it in very high regard... It's amazing to see that the venue is... read more

We were a party of four, celebrating my son and daughters birthday. They were nineteen years old. Everyone had decided on a different main meal, and I must say we were delighted, the taste the presentation and the choice was superb. Well done to the chef. The price was expensive but it was worth it. The atmosphere was nice and... More

Very many thanks for the review of your son and daughter's birthday meal, we would gladly have arrange for some balloons had we known in advance, however it is something that is difficult to stock because there are so many variations to individual requirements i.e. male/female, age group, type of celebrations etc. however I am sure we could do this... My partner and I went last night for a romantic meal out. Food was excellent. Service was excellent didn't get the ladies name but she was the more mature of the two blonde ladies working last night (6 1 15). I had the chicken pie. Best pastry ever. My partner had beef dish. He's still raving about it today. Only... More

Attended a meal here planned by friends. We were in a back room as a wedding was on. I had heard rave reviews about this place. The room we were in was, I felt lacking and bland. We were not tended to due to the function and felt hemmed in as all areas were occupied by wedding guests, we felt... More

Ok, a little bit of central London on the outskirts of Immingham, if you like bright, sparkly and shiny this place is for you. Seems popular with weddings.

We chose to visit the Ashbourne for Sunday lunch after an excellent experience at it's sister hotel the Brackenbrough Arms. In comparison the Ashbourne was disappointing. Upon arrival we ordered drinks, and when moving to our table these were seized by the waitress, only for us to realise later on that when she placed them on our table she had... More

Had a garlic bread for starter and a sirloin steak for main course. Big portions and great wine. Very tasty food and a good atmosphere.

Went for an RAF reunion dinner at the usual venue. As ever the setting is lovely, very pretty courtyard and attractive dining room. The food this year was at best poor, at worst, dreadful. Starter of pate was more a mousse, lamb main -well - no words to describe. Desert, a challenge despite swopping to see if other choices were... More
