Description: Food is at the heart of The Farmhouse, with award-winning cuisine served...
Food is at the heart of The Farmhouse, with award-winning cuisine served throughout the day in a choice of areas. The bar and lounge are popular throughout the year for coffee and casual dining, whilst our restaurant provides an ambient setting complete with an open log fire. 'The Courtyard' is large, light and airy, spilling out onto the poolside terrace where you can dine al fresco in summer overlooking our mature gardens and the surrounding countryside with a variety of mouth-watering menus. A choice of private dining rooms is also available as well as two gazebos for informal gatherings looking to wine and dine outdoors.

We combine British and Continental cuisine with the odd dish from further afield to create diverse and imaginative menus that incorporate organic and Fairtrade products wherever possible. Our aim is to cater for all palates, from fine dining to something a little less formal, so forget all your preconceptions about hotel restaurants. It's about the food, the drinks, the company and maybe just occasionally 'one too many' on a school night.

The best Cream Tea around!

we honeymooned in this hotel 25 years ago but the transformation for today is magnificent. Beautiful environment for a perfect afternoon tea, with generous, reasonably priced portions and lots of tea. It was a highlight of our visit to the island!

Excellent on every level. Faultless! Lovely fire in dining room which creates a lovely ambience on arrival- especially on a cold Sunday afternoon! Live music on guitar which was very good but non intrusive. Quality of food, menu choice, presentation all excellent. Professional attentive service. Has just topped our favourite place for Sunday lunch.

We went here for Sunday lunch with family. Warm welcome and attractive decor. Delicious roast beef, some of the best I have eaten recently. Attentive service although a couple of small mistakes in the bill, quickly rectified.

Everything that you could wish for at a resturant is available. Good choice at a nice price. Afternoon tea is not to be missed.

There is no doubt, this is a venue with style and appeal. The timber frames and stylish floor tiles make this an attractive place to eat. The appeal is all the better for the current Tennerfest being run in the Channel Islands. After reviewing the various Tennerfest menus, this one caught our eye and so we decided to give it... More
