Small local pub with very good food. All food is cooked to a high standard and personal variations on the menu are no trouble.

After a recommendation from the owners of our cottage we went with 2 children. We could not of had a more warm welcome. Fast service. Kids menu, specials and normal local menu. Food was hot and good size. Adapted food for needs and portion size for children as they wanted and adult dessert. Good value. Would recommend. Thank you.

Lovely traditional country pub with friendly atmosphere in the beautiful vale of clwyd. Very good menu with lots of choice. Great play area for the children. We have eaten here a few times, lovely fresh, home cooked food. They always manage to fit you in and are very accommodating. Can highly recommend the chicken fricassée and the curry is very... More

The Kinmel Arms is one a small group of excellent Clwyd Valley pubs! It has a great atmoshere, great beers and good pub grub, and you can just turn up and eat in the main pub or in the spacious restaurant room if you have a larger party. It has a great advantage over many other local pubs in that... More

Visited with my brother and sister on spec for Sunday lunch. We grew up locally but last visited in 1998! Warm welcome, good choice of beers. Menu quite small but food was beautifully cooked and well presented. Brother and sister had poached salmon with new potatoes and fresh veg and I had the roast beef. Will definitely not leave it... Three of us stopped by a few weeks ago in the evening, mainly to sample some of the excellent local beers that they have and decided to stay for dinner. It's a small little pub, tucked away from a round about, with a really old fashion, "spit n sawdust' feel, which I personally appreciate in this age of chain pubs... More

Busy little spot on a Tuesday night, bit of a wait for food, but then all home cooked to order - even the chips (not pre-prepared, oven baked or frozen - REAL) - go there and try the food for yourself. Too full to manage dessert, but highly recommend the Chicken Fricassee - delicious

Called here while out on a bike ride through the beautiful vale of Clwyd, hoping for a sandwich at lunchtime. We arrived at about 1pm, looking forward to eating in the garden, but the bar staff told us that they were too busy to serve any more food as the kitchen staff were unable to deal with any more orders!... After a really busy weekend we make our usual Monday trip here. We are always greeted by happy, attentive staff. Always warm and cosy in the winter and a beautiful beer garden with play area for the summer. Lucy and James are the perfect hosts.
