Superb food - fresh fresh, the trout with chilli was delicious. Welcoming bar with open fires. Cornish lager pricey, but was darn good. Beautiful area, wild ponies on the green.

Called in with friends one lunchtime and the place was nearly full - but a nice table available for us near to a lovely log fire. Lovely warm feel to the place. Good choice of three real ales and extensive menu including specials. I had ham egg and chips and it was large and very tasty. Fabulous setting in mid... More

Beautiful pub/hotel in the middle of Gower Peninsula. Surrounded by lovely countryside, it's well worth visiting this pub. The bar is very welcoming with a roaring real fire on a cold day. Extensive menu with plenty of specials on offer, real ales and lovely wine. The food looks good and tastes good too. It's also a hotel and a wedding... More

We stopped here for a spot of lunch after our meandering visits to lots of beautiful coves, through rugged landscape and across sheep strewn moors.. A beautiful corner of Wales to be sure! The hotel bar and restaurant were very busy on a Wednesday lunchtime which must be a sign of good food! Indeed it was! If you can sit... More

Have enjoyed this place since I was 19yrs old, 60yr ago. A rustic bar area, always busy. Have enjoyed many meals from the wide ranging menu - always appear even better after walking the coast or Cefn Bryn. We travel from Brecon now, as often as we can.

Very happy with food and the ale is kept well, nice spot summer and winter. Although it comes at a price as the prices here are a cut above the other local pubs.

Great pub food. Ate here twice during my stay in the Gower. The first time we just had snacks by the fire, the white bait and the pate - both yum! The second time we sat in the restaurant. I had the white bait again - just as good as the first time! And then had trout and cockles for... More
