Decent rooms, good food and great beer. We'll worth a visit. If you do come this far, be sure to visit Oxwich Bay; just a couple of miles south of here. Had a nice run and swim on a September evening prior to my meal. Fantastic.

We happened upon this gem of a place by accident, well wet back from a quiet road, with large open expanses of grassland around it, very imposing and grand. We were looking for food as were the sheep! It was red hot and sunny, outside it is then, the sheep were no problem, the food was excellent, with a very... More

Visited on a Sunday evening, glad we had booked as it was very full. Great welcome from staff, closed the window so I wasn't in a draught. Hardest part was actually choosing what to eat, whitebait starter was good and plentiful. Specials board was full of lovely food.

Greatly impressed by the quality and service and value for money at this Welsh pub just across from the village common where the sheep graze. Needless to say, the roast was excellent. Arrive here early as parking is limited!

The King Arthur is in a stunning setting and looks inviting from the outside, where tables are available for outside drinking or dining, It has its own car park, located down the lane from the main road (as if driving in the front door) then bear left. We enjoyed delicious food, competitively priced and especially recommend the Welsh beef lasagne,... More

Ate at this pub twice in one week. The service is quick and efficient, with very friendly and helpful staff. The food is very good quality pub favourites plus some specials and is very appetising and well cooked. Good selection of beers. Can recommend with confidence, though as oit is very busy its best to book.

This is a lovely hotel with a very good restaurant. Our party of eight were welcomed and looked after superbly. The service was excellent as was the food and everyone in the restaurant was enjoying themselves, a very good ambience and a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Make a point of going there if you are anywhere near, you won't be disappointed... More

The welcome was good, in spite of the pace being busy and a wedding going on too, the staff still had time to respond to questions and serve us efficiently too with good quality, home cooked food. If you eat too much you can always take a walk up the Bryn afterwards to see the King Arthur Stone.

Good food, slick friendly service, Main bar is lovely, restaurant looks a bit utilitarian in comparison.

There is a seating area with nice views of the sheep on the green in front of the hotel. We enjoyed our food but had to wait a very long time for our main course. There was an interesting menu and good portions were served.
