I can understand why people like this restaurant as its very flashy, but for us, we left hungry in spite of it being the most expensive meal of our 2 week holiday. The setting is beautiful and the pottery is very charming, however, I would expect a side salad to include more than a few lettuce leaves sprinkled with seeds.... More

Enjoyed some excellent seafood here last week... Strongly recommend the roasted Langoustines! The staff were real friendly and we were allowed to take away our half drunk bottle of wine which was convenient and refreshing (in more ways than one!) The only slight issue was the speed of service. The waiters were ever-present when we ordered and in bringing the... More

This was one of the best meals we had on our 4 day trip travelling around Scotland. Nice setting, off the beaten track a little, pricey menu but everything was of the best quality and fresh. The mussels were cooked in a lovely coconut and coriander sauce.

This was one of the best seafood restaurants we have been during our two weeks trip through the Highlands! Great view onto the Loch and outstanding, well-presented seafood in a modern seafood restaurant atmosphere. I will definitely come back here again!

We were lucky to turn up at evening opening time and get the only unbooked table having been offered an aperitif glass of wine in the evening sunshine overlooking Loch Leven. We ordered the roast seafood platter for two - it was ENORMOUS - but we managed mostly. Wow.

Visited here twice during our fortnight's holiday. I liked the presentation of the food and don't be fooled into thinking the soup is expensive - it is awash with seafood. Nice settings with a shop and if the gates are open you can take a look in to see the fish being kept ready for distribution (but it is wet),... More

Had booked at a guest house in Kinlochleven and saw the Cafe as we drove there what luck! I was advised to book so I did and returned later. Staff were excellent but the food was wonderful, such a treat. I don't think I have ever had such succulent scallops I had to ask for a spoon so I could... More

We was looking forward to experiencing a meal here to be turned away! I was in utter shock! When we had finished a forestry walk near by we decided to go straight there, we had our dog with us so sitting outside was our best option. When I went inside I checked with a lady if dogs could sit near... More

We had the lunch special - the best fish cakes in the world. Ordered a rather large portion of scallops cooked to perfection, with some Spanish influences. With some excellent wine, lunch was spectacular with an even more special view of Loch Leven.
