Great Seafood

A real treat food served and cooked to perfection. Can pick up seafood also at shop and see the lobsters in the tanks. The specials menu and children's menu is great value next to the more expensive daily menu.

As we were visiting the Highlands we decided to take advantage of the fresh seafood. You can't argue that you can taste how fresh the seafood is. The seafood was beautiful but we felt as though sides should come as a standard rather than as an extra as the portion sizes are slight and we left feeling hungry. The menu... More

We turned down the road on which Lochleven Seafood Cafe is located looking for a visitor center, but we ended up stopping here to grab some lunch, and we were so happy that we did. The location is great, especially if you can get a seat on the outside deck where you can enjoy your seafood with a view of... More

We have been here twice on visits to Scotland. It is not much to look at from the outside but it is nicely set up inside and has an amazing loch view. The seafood is delicious and the puddings too!

A perfect way to end a day on the hills. The food is cooked to perfection. A wine list of good and reasonably priced wines add to the fun. There is a decent variety of shellfish, fish specials and non-fish meals. A uniquely Spanish influence makes the clean, efficient café restaurant stand out as far as food and bowls/jugs, etc.... Splendid seafood, delicious scallops (best we had around glencoe and skye, super soft) , langoustines and clams! The local beer (blond) is also great! The service was good and we even got the best flat whites in a long time (thanks to the great Australian waitress).

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal out here. We had a great meal with an excellent wine (emailed them to ask for details but didn't hear back :( ), From the bread and olives at the beginning at the meal, to the freshest oysters, delicious scallops and sole for mains, to the lemon tart, was all faultless. We were surprised we hadn't... More
