We went to the Coppice based on the other TA reviews mentioning the good food and real ales. There was no food the day we went and the real ales turned out to be in bottles bought from the local supermarket! The barman had his hands full with a gang of 10 or so people who obviously went in there... More

we walked in to find the bar area a bit crowded but no problems the friendly locals soon made room for me, more logs were going on the fire, and soon we were enjoying a nice few drinks in a very friendly pub, food was being served and it looked very good,we will try it on our return.

This is a lovely unpretentious dining pub, kind of like a 'local'. It is extremely good value for money, and the food really is excellent. The owners are very nice and friendly. You need to book for Sunday lunch as it's always busy. It's open all year, which is surprising, as it's in the middle of the caravan sites in... More

We had a party here for my 70th birthday. the food was exceptional, the service charming and the atmosphere delightful. It was a surprise to me and after not wanting to go and throwing a strop, I'm so glad i went and would go back again anytime. All my family members thoroughly enjoyed the visit and would definitely go again... More

Lovely little pub, friendly, good Food and at a fair price, eat in the bar or in the restaurant, Log fire in winter, one "Minor" thing, the bar seating (bench type could do with re spring and re covering. Do not let this discourage you.
