My partner and I chose the fish and chips and the medallions of beef for our evening meal at historic King's Head in Tealby, reputedly the oldest thatched pub in Lincolnshire. We appreciate the separation of bar and dining rooms as this adds ambience to the restaurant area. The service of the barman and waitress was perfect, absolutely faultless, impeccably... More

We went in a large family group for a Sunday dinner and I can't fault it. The place is really lovely and the service was excellent. They have some nice real ale on tap & delicious wine. The food menu offered a variety of choices, we went for a roast but seeing what else was on offer means we will... More

We visited The Kings Head with family who live locally, on their recommendation, it's in a very pretty village, and is a wonderful old characterful building dating back to the 13 hundreds. We had a table in the restaurant but were advised that should we wish to bring the dog in, we could have the same menu in the bar,I... More

We visited this pub-restaurant whilst visiting family in the area. It is a lovely old character buillding in very good condition, extremely well decorated and clean. The meal we had was first rate, with the exception of the vegetables which were 'aldentist' and barely cooked. However, everything else, inclduding the special local Lamb pie, was superb.

A table for four was ordered, a quiet corner position which was very comfortable. The staff were very attentive, and considering the fact that they were very busy, soon attended our table for our order, Two of us had chicken/bacon salad, and two had lamb shanks. Our partners had the chicken which they said were excellent, I had the lamb... More

Beautiful looking country pub set in a lovely village. We came with our children and the dog so took a seat outside in the garden which was well kept. We only went into the bar area and therefore cannot comment on the restaurant ambience. I was instantly disappointed that they didn't have a childrens menu and that there wasn't a... More

A walking party of five thoroughly enjoyed dining here accompanied by superbly kept Ringwood ale 'Boondoggle'. The staff are extremely friendly and helfpul and the food is well worth the detour. The imaginative puddings stand out particularly; my classic lemon posset was especially good. The ambience is admirably unstuffy. It is four miles outside Market Rasen by the way but... More

We have yet again had a lovely eating experience at the Kings Head, from being welcomed on arrival and shown to our table, to the beer and wine excellent as always. Sol and everyone at the Kings Head couldn't do enough for you. The food was sumptuous and the vegetables cooked to perfection (not soft and squishy as in many... More

Chose to go here for an early family dinner to celebrate my birthday. Nice variety on the menu and the specials board was plentiful, prices are reasonable for the quality of food you get, but i would say the prices are higher than a lot of pub restaurants. The wine list is limited and over priced for jack rabbit and... More
