My friend and I had been driving around for over an hour (Immingham/ Brigg, you name it) on Sunday morning to try to find an inviting-looking cafe for breakfast. We found Clayton's Corner ENTIRELY by accident as we came home to Market Rasen via a route we would not normally use. WOW, we were so glad we did. The place... More

Located on a bad bend in the village of Howsham we have passed this restaurant many times too intent on our driving to stop. This time we called. We should have done so before! Everything was good, atmosphere, staff and food. Our overall comment was "Not dear but not particularly cheap however the quality was well worth paying for". (The... More

Dropped in at lunchtime on a freezing cold day and it was lovely and warm. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The young staff were very pleasant but could possibly be a little bit more proactive in keeping their heads up in order to catch additional orders/customer queries.

We've called in few times and have never been disappointed. We had a snack lunch, with something sweet to follow. Lovely location, helpful friendly staff. Couldn't ask for more!

We were three adults and two small children who visited Clayton's for lunch. We've been once before and again found both the food and service to be excellent. Of particular note was the warm and friendly welcome, and the willingness to adjust a menu item on request. Nothing seems too much trouble for the staff at Clayton's.

If you want a fantastic bacon bap; this the place. If you want a good coffee; this is the place. If you want a speciality leaf tea: this is the place. A salad for lunch; homemade cake with your coffee; something hot; something cold;full English breakfast; this is the place. Welcoming staff; unpretentious service; this is the place.

I've visited this café often as a cycle ride coffee stop, also used it on organised rides I have led. Staff are always friendly and helpful even when 15 or so cyclists turn up all at once! Food is excellent, good coffee and cakes and my favourite - Lincolnshire sausage bap. Other sandwiches and light snacks as well. Its not... More

I would suggest you don't go to this place if the weather is good, I got the impression they can't cope if they're busy, a little staff training would be a good idea, train the staff to talk to customers, to let them know there will be a wait. I was left 50 minutes waiting for a sausage bun while... More

Good cofee and hot chocolate. We wish we'd found this sooner rather than after our picnic lunch as we might then have tried the cakes.
