I write this review whilst lying down as I recover from my morning at Clayton's. I visited for the first time this morning with friends and a baby. As we got to the door a lovely chap had the door open for us. We were attended to by polite staff. The menu is really accommodating. I opted for the full... More

This little haven has become a must have detour on our regular club cycling jaunts. Always friendly & helpful staff Great food in a pleasant location, eat in or out. Bacon or Sausage Butties to die for the Bapps are superb. Big pots of tea Can't recommend enough.

I have been here now 3 times and each time has been excellent. The couple that run the place are extremely friendly and the staff are good too. The cakes are all home made and delicious. This last time I had the breakfast panini which was basically a full fry up on top of the bread, even the beans! Very... More

This is truly a delightful little oasis. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Food is top notch, you may have to wait a bit, especially at busy times but the wait is well worth it as its all cooked fresh. Although not on the menu do ask for chips, they are freshly cut and cooked for you......yummy! This is... More

Called in last week after a trip with my parent's to Brigg Garden Centre. They have been couple times so we thought we would go for lunch. There were five of us altogether and they were kind enough to put two tables together. We ordered our food and drinks. Drinks came very quickly but waited for the food for over... More

Went out on a bike ride with 2 friends 1 of whom had been here before arrived after 35 miles. Ordered tea and a bacon butty for the princely sum of £4-20. Given a massive pot of tea and the bestest bacon butty I have eaten in a long long time. Freshly baked bun and 3 rashers of thick bacon.... More

While searching for my wife's family roots in the tiny villages NE of Lincoln, we stumbled upon this beautiful country cafe at a corner in the road. Hungry for bit of lunch we found to our delight one of the best gourmet cafe meals we've ever had! She said her salad - French Brie, mature white cheese, gammon slice, tuna... More

I have visited this little cafe a number of times, and never been disappointed. Its a little country cafe, which does lovely lunches & snacks & quality beverages. Always a warm welcom from owners & staff. Honest & hard working. Well worth a visit & look out for the ducks! Very cute :) Keep up the good work guys.

As i've been here before when out cycling, I thought we'd get a warm welcome and good grub whilst out on the motorbikes on a wet Sunday morning. We braved the rain to Claytons as we wanted to show our friends the place. We weren't disappointed and our friends were equally impressed. Upon arrival from Scunthorpe (in the pouring rain)... More
