Used to go here quite a lot but as usaul when something gets popular here in Malta price goes up and service goes down as do the portions, quite a few eastern european staff last time i was in who could hardly understand any english with a slight accent. Shame as i used to like it there and there own... More

Dear Mfd200, Thank you for taking the time to write a review however please allow us to point out that the portions are standard in all outlets and the price has been static for the past 2 years since we have done the revamp. As regards your comment that this is the norm in Malta when a place gets popular... More

This was once one of my favourite places when I first came to Malta over 2 years ago. I can safely say I will not be gracing the place again with my presence ever again. Service here is decent, there was a server called Kurt that was brilliant and another shorter dark haired girl (i think her name was Monica)... More

Dear Irish Maltese Falcon, Thank you for your review however going into such detail you could at least had the decency in saying that you had visited the premises a year earlier the latest. according to our recollection the conversation that you had mentioned might have even happened prior that date that you are saying that you had visited. in... Cafe Jubilee is a lovely place for most times of the day. Breakfast is tasty with steaming croissants, fresh OJ, and made-to-order espresso. I'm a big fan of the spinach, beet, and hummus sandwiches (and I'm not even vegetarian). Perfect dimly lit bar for a host of drinks toward evening, or whenever you feel like it. Ambiance is warm...picture-perfect bohemian.... More

Staying nearby for 5 days, we were looking for a casual dinner one night after a long day of sightseeing. Heard about Cafe Jubilee and walked down the street to the address, but almost missed it. Does not appeal from the outside, but decided to check it out. Greeted immediately by a busy waiter and given the choice of the... More

We'd been recommended some bars and this one wasn't on the list, and we nearly didn't go in because we thought it was going to be an 'Irish' bar. We are so thankful we did - excellent service, reasonably-priced and interesting menu, great music, good food and great decor. Couldn't understand why it didn't come up on any of our... More

Ever since the menu was changed and updated, I've found that the portions were greatly decreased while prices went up. I used to rave about their variation on the traditional English Breakfast, but the last time I tried it, there was hardly anything on the plate, and it was cold. Also, the waffles which were a fairly new item were... More

We had such a great time at this cute pub, my wife and I went back there a second time during our week-stay in Sliema. The decor was fun, the staff very courteous and helpful, and the food pretty satisfying. Table-space is limited, so if you want to go for dinner during prime time call ahead for a reservation. If...
