Can pick up seafood and ask to cook what you want. we order crabs chili, tomyam, tumeric chicken, and vegetable, one medium pineapple juice and one XL watermelon juice. The portion is big, but the taste just average! Total cost us RM75+, a bit pricey due the location.

Been here on 2010 twice and June 2014 once. During 2010 we found that the food quality and taste was excellent with reasonable price. But, it was different taste & pricey now. We were dissapointed as we really love it during our visit on 2010. Hopefully they can improve a lot.

Wanted BBQ fish so was shown to the stand where we can pick our fish. As there were only 2 of us, we requested to get the smallest fish they have. Everything on there was huge and could feed 4. In fact there were only 3 types of fish available - golden snapper, sea bass and garoupa. Our "small sea... More

The food is a bit pricy because of chenang beach reputation. But for that kind of price they should make the food at least decent. You can never go wrong with tomyam... Tomyam in KL or any other places is way better. As a malaysian... Im was very surprise with these tasteless dishes.

This restaurant offers fresh seafood selection with a very reasonable price. We ordered ikan bakar, butter prawn, tomyam and squid in batter for 3 pax with a total price below RM100.

If you want to try local malay food, like the ikan baker (grill fish) then try once at least without any expectations. I can't say that the food is super cheap at all and service can be very slow when there are many people. There is no air-cond and no alcohol served as it is a Muslim restaurant.

A little intimidating at first for my wife and daughter..They had fish and were very happy as it was cooked on the charcoal bar b cue. I joined later and had chicken with chilli and cashew nuts. Really good! As it's Muslim it's not laugh a minute but food good and price is very reasonable! Be brave..give it a go!... More

I had a dinner with my spouse at Restoran Haji Ramli which is just a walking distance from Meritus Pelangi Beach Resort. The seafood is fresh and good. We had Grouper (3-rasa), Sotong Goreng Tepung and steamed-prawn with mixed vege for our dinner.

We ordered the squid and crab. I had informed the staff to cook sambal squid with petai, with the special request not to slice the squid. But when the food served, the did not do as instructed. And the taste sweet and tasteless. They should improve and I was so frustrated with the food.

We wanted a local dining experience and tried this place out after our taxi driver recommended it. We just sat and watched what the locals were eating and then asked the waiter. As it turned out there were a few things that weren't on the menu that you could order! We ordered 4 dishes between 2 adults and a10 yr... More
