Good service and good food in a good location

The only reason not to give the Brasserie 5 stars is that the competition is so good. The menu is unashamedly western and if that's what you are looking for then I doubt that you could do better in Cenang Beach. Our taste is probably more to the Asian. The only complaints we had are minor and... read more

Second time we had dinner at the Brasserie and it was still as great the first time we came almost 4 years ago. Location - great location at Chenang Beach. Restaurant - 3 areas; indoor where the bar is, the garden and on the sand. Very suitable for a romantic dinner or with the whole family. Small children can play... More

I had a lovely evening here with my husband. The food was really nice and good value. The menu has lots of choice and I would visit again. Great experience and was able to watch the sun set.

We had heard and read a lot of good things about this restaurant and so were interested to see whether we would agree. We sat outside overlooking the sea so it was a lovely setting. My husband ordered the seared scallops for entree and the cod for mains. I ordered the grilled vegetables with buffalo mozzarella cheese and the sea... More

We ate here this week (four of us) and we all reported tasty starters and mains, the drinks were good, service prompt. The setting is beautiful, although this was spoiled for me a little bit being eaten alive by the little midges! However, the waitress couldn't not have been sweeter, leading to me to a cooling outdoor tap and giving... More

Good location, dinner with sun set, other than that, average food, average service, nothing special. Without the view, I would rate 2 stars.

This restaurant was a welcome find amongst all the usual Malaysian restaurants, and those attempting to provide 'western food'. With tables set on sand just a few steps from the beach, the outside seating area provides the perfect place to watch the sunset. Superb chilled prosecco, complimentary hors d'ouvres, fabulous lamb shanks and mouth watering sea bass. Friendly attentive service.... More

Great place with even better food and greatest staff... we ate and drank several times here... everything is served with grace and a smile and the minor imperfections make the place perfect... enjoy a sunset here.. please ;)

The Brasserie is a restaurant at Pantai Cenang. It is reached by following the walkway from Pantai Cenang Road to the beach, where the Brasserie sign board is. You can sit inside, in the garden or at the beach (See pictures). The background music is somewhat louder than could be wished. Service of the staff is pleasant, but we had... More
