We are not a young funky couple, we are in our early 50's and were looking for a nice simple well priced place to eat with nice drinks and watching the stunning sunset and we found it. I agree about not reading what the whingers on here have to say, this restaurant is great. I like the service the way... More

We went there loads and the service was fun, attentive and good. No idea what the people are talking about bad service for locals, the owner is Malaysian! We had drinks there every night and loved it. We shared a seafood platter and some satay tonight and both were delicious. Freshly barbecued, cooked perfectly and every item delicious. Ignore the... I don't know it's because I'm a local or what. They were really rude to me and they are not fast in attending u. Ruined my mood to even drink.

I was lucky enough to spend 3 weeks on Langkawi recently and estimate I only missed 4/5 nights at this gem of a place which must be the highest recommendation I could give! Gie, the owner is a local legend and runs a tight ship. I didn't eat there and was generally there later on for the very entertaining house... More

Very bad service. Waiters were rude (maybe because we were locals) and they seem to be high and not attentive at all. The shisha was terrible! Ordered food at 9pm but it never came. After an hour of asking the waiters, apparently the kitchen was already closed when we placed our orders but no one bothered to inform us. Ruined... More

There's a few beach places at Pantai Cenang, but Little Lylias has the best atmosphere. Its decorated in style with dark wooden trunks and driftwood pieces, as opposed to the garish and utilitarian concrete shelters you tend to find on the main strip. The food is good value but not much of a selection. The waiters are very friendly, as... More

Horrible treatment by a bloody foreigner married to a local !!! Bloody woman no courtesy ! That's the reason you are in Malaysia....to learn courtesy !!!! Arrogance doesn't get you anywhere .... People with kids, hide your kids feeding bottle as she construes that as outside food :P that's how dumb she is !

They had run out of satay sticks when we arrived so I can't comment on those. We ordered a seafood platter and it all it consisted of was a piece of (dry) fish, 2 prawns, 2 tiny squid and some calamari. Not really a platter.
