A Fine Dining Experience'Rajputana' now known as Rajasthan was the land of many princely states which includes Jaipur . 1135 AD derives its name from the year in which the Kacchawaha clan founded the dynasty. The royal cooks worked in the palaces and kept their recipes to themselves. Some recipes were passed on to their descendants and the rest were passed on as skills to the chefs. Our chef takes anectodes from the royal cooks and brings forth the true culinary valour of the 'Rajput Kingdom'. The restaurant is divided into many sections. The Shahi Aangan, is centrally located and is open to the sky. The Swarna Mahal is the main restaurant and the Diwan E Khas is the boardroom for business meetings. The Sheesh Mahal is for private dining, entirely from silver and gold, it dazzles with royal, old-world charm. Beautiful views of Jaipur

Restaurant in the old Palace; we dined in the outside area on soft cushions overlooking Jaipur city, with a light breeze. The atmosphere made us feel special. Friendly attentive service and well presented delicious food.

As you enter the restaurant the first thing you see is the cooking of the Tandoori and the aroma just gets you going with hunger , service is very polite and courses are really sumptuous and on time , great choices as well . All round great food , well worth trying .

Built inside Amer fort and a 7star experience in taste as well as prices ;) Lal mans really blew our noses and mind off due to its spiciness but totally loved it to the last bite. Warqi parantha and chicken qorma were equally fantastic. Staff is a bit rude but mellowed down as the time passed by. Live Sufi music... More

We were granted permission to have a peek in already built in the plus points for this place ! At such a height... More

We had a lovely time having food in this exotic restaurant within Amer Fort. There was no one present when we reached but I ate as if there was no tomorrow. There paneer and Dal were out of this world. The paranthas were the perfect blend of crisp and soft layering with a lot of ghee. The Lal Maas ordered... More

I simply went to this place because of the name. It gave a pre-historic feel and in reality also, it was no different. The seating and the dishes, all gave a royal feel and was an absolute delight. A different experience altogether. The food was also good.
