My wife and I visited from Ottawa Canada. We stayed at a B&B in Donnalucata and decided to go to this restaurant one night. The place looked real nice so we walked in but there were only 5 tables being served. Not a big deal it was after all low season in Sept. We sat down and ordered our meal... More

Definitely best choice in Donnalucata: food (fish and pasta), wine, staff and desserts deserve a standing ovation.

We spent 2 weeks in the neighbourhood, having come from Napoli. We ate at this wonderful little restaurant 5 times in that period. It was just fantastic. We eneded up asking the owner & his daughter what the catch of the day was, and that's what we ate! The fish was fantastic & VERY FRESH!!! The fist day, we had... More

We arrived there, parked the car in front check the fish racket which basicaly 5 meters from the enterance. We thought ths will be great fresh seafood straight from the small boats. The whole experience was terrible we ordered... More

Everything is simply excellent in this friendly restaurant - food, wine, service, atmosphere. Ask the staff for seafood or fish of the day, as often there are truly magnificent dishes available that are not on the menu (eg. pasta with sea urchins). All dishes are prepared from really fresh and good quality ingredients. It's our "must go" place every time... More

We were tourists, we ordered in English.. we did not have the feeling that this was a tourist trap as other reviewers suggest. We had delicious big oysters, secondly one tagliatelli del mare (no complaints about the quantity of the seafood here..) and one spaghetti con vongole. We also had 2 desserts, coffee and wine. I think this cost us... More

Wandered across the beach from Acquamarina. Lovely reception, shared mixed salad, clam and mussel starter and swordfish main. Everything great.

Mezzaparola is located in the port area of Donnaluca and has a very pretty garden in which we ate. We ordered in italian and when the anti-pasti arrived, they realised we were tourists as we asked them to slow down the explanations on what was on the plate. Our next dish was tagliatelle with clams, mussels, calamari and shrimp. The... More

Spent a week in Sicily last week and went to this fish restaurant - next to the fish market - a couple of times. Went there for lunch a couple of times and had the best meals of our holiday. Our kids loved the ravollini - and they're very difficult to please - and we had some great fresh pasta... More
