Good value food and great views

We happened upon this purely by chance and we weren't disappointed. Food was excellent, great value for money and the service was good too. If you can get a table by the window you might even spot a dolphin or two. Sadly we didn't, just means we have to come back another time!

Lunch following a six mile walk from Aberaeron so looking for somewhere for a pint a sit down in the sun and a seaview. From that point of view it was good. Food pretty average though. My wife didn't like the quiche, my sardines were OK but no better. No dressing on salad which is usually a bad sign. Service... More

We went into the the Watch House for a light lunch, sat on the terrace, beautiful views and ate baguettes/sandwiches, I had the chicken mayonnaise and hubby had the bacon with Brie & Cranberry. Both were very filling and delicious. The staff were helpful and friendly. In the afternoon we went back for 'afternoon tea' again the cakes were as... More

An excellent place to eat. Fresh, high quality food, cooked perfectly and presented well. there is an unusual and interesting range of choices here and the menu needs to be studied. Some of the best food I have eaten and the team that serves are polite and make you feel valued. Gosia (apologies for spelling) is superb. She is amazingly... More

They have a superb selection of home made puddings to die for. Could not fault our meals or the atmosphere of the Restaraunt, lovely view across... More

I have been travelling to New Quay for many years and this place has never changed. The options available for food and drink during the daytime is fantastic with everything being reasonably priced. Staff are also super friendly

Good clean place, great food, friendly staff. Seperate veggie section on menu and not run of the mill options. Great views out to sea from few tables plus outside verandah. Not cheap but quality food.

Went here for an evening meal. As we walked in we were told we could sit anywhere unless it had a reserved notice on the table.(that was obvious!) we found a table near the window, as we sat down a girl came over and asked if our name was ????? We said "no" and she said the table was reserved,we... More

Quick meal after Dolphin Spotting trip. Bit unclear the protocol of sit and orders taken versus order at the bar! (the bane of the UK)! and probably changes on demand! We sat an ordered, good veggie options, goodish fish options although not enough local catch for me, given we are virtually on the sea, but better than the chippies. Service... More

As a light lunch goes we had two well presented bake potatoes served by pleasant staff in nice sea side location. Nothing to fault, vfm and we would return
