Lovely place for a lunch on the terrace (dogs welcome)

This was our family's first time in New Quay and also the first time we'd ever been on holiday with a dog (only a little one) and we arrived on Sunday afternoon looking for somewhere to eat. Usually I'd check TripAdvisor first but seeing as the entire Ceredigion area seems to an O2 mobile... read more

Stopped at the Old Watchhouse for lunch and the menu looked really appetizing and the food we ate satisfied our food palate. The Caramel caffe latte is something that one should definitely have. Food was also great and there are enough choices for the vegetarians also. I would recommend a visit for anyone who wants to have a good grub... More

We had an early dinner here (2 adults, 4 kids age 4-10) before the dinner menu stated. We sat at a window table to watch the sea and had fish & chips and Scampi and chips. The kids had lasagne, nuggets and sausages all served with chips and beans/peas. This is pub food but nicely done and served hot and... More

Stopped by for a pit stop after walking along the coastal path from Aberaeron. I had cod in batter with chips and salad, my wife had rainbow trout with salad. My meal wasn't greasy, lovely boneless/skinless cod in a lovely batter. The chips were hot and tasty too. My wife enjoyed her meal too and we would definitely return.

A lovely place to eat! Menu had lots of choice. Meals were cooked well and they were huge portions. Staff were friendly and helpful! Defiantly worth a visit. Booking advised as we had an hour wait and it wasn't peak season.

We ate lunch here a couple of times and the food was well presented and good value. As we had our dog with us, we sat outside. Luckily the weather was excellent, combined with a great view over the harbour. Service was good and staff were cheerful. The ordering and payment is a little confusing if you sit outside, as...
