I have been returning to this restaurant time and time again over 30 year period when I am on holiday in this part of the country. I usually have a Super Steak or Gammon Grill but decided to try the lemon sole and asparagus Fish cakes for a change and the meal was delicious. Super Service as ever in a... More

Being just a few minutes down the road from me, this is one of my favourite restaurants, and one I keep returning to. The restaurant is well presented and has great atmosphere, staff always friendly and helpful. Especially Kelly, And as for the steak.... wow. Always cooked perfectly and amazingly tasty. If you want to give yourself a treat, you... More

Had a lovely meal here. The food was excellent, reasonably priced, with nice surroundings and a good atmosphere, with pleasent staff. Compared to other eating houses in New Quay it is excellent value. Would deffinately go back.

We ate here whilst on holiday. Great selection of wines, had a lovely red. Had a starter and main each, I had the pate which was very nice. For main I had the gammon, which definitely hit the spot. Boyfriend had the steak, which was good, with a nice sauce. As someone has previously mentioned, the chairs are office chairs,... More

My husband marched into the Port of Call and was pounced on by the waitress and manoeuvred into an office chair on wheels at a table before I realised the place was... More

Eccentric Steak House is the best description for this popular New Quay restaurant. We had possibly the nicest supper of the summer sitting outside on the patio overlooking the Sea just as the hot spell started. Very simple: Two 8oz steaks with onion rings, peas chips with a lovely bottle of cold dry Rose. They came very quickly, and the... More

Ate here two consecutive nights as we enjoyed it so much first night, fillet steak first night, veg lasagne second night. Wonderful wines at extremely reasonable prices. Loved the music choice played and atmosphere. Will definitely call again. Thank you to all the staff.
